D is "division". The higher your number is, the harder your songs are (and more skilled the players are, as well).

The official isn't the only way to obtain Vrofl now though, granted you need to whore like crazy to get it the other way. But there is another way to get it now.

Pretty much this. Its obvious the chart is shit and is not fun to play unless you are a mashing tard, but the fact that its a limited token and the official is at he only way people can rely on getting it of course people are going to get heated and get a little upset seeing their only chance at getting this token not be able to happen.

Agreed, however there are other ways of unlocking that. Yes it may seem bizarre to them but it's always an option if they desperately want the token ahha

I was 100% one of these people, but my argument for that was the same one I'm placing now publicly. Comparitively, my scores were nowhere near the bulk of D5's. That may put me at the top tier of D4, but I fail to see how that's a valid argument. "You'll do well here so we can't put you here, we'd rather put you somewhere you realistically have no chance of winning at"?

So you over the bulk of another division should be there because you'll win. Basically placements were done in favor of the majority. And frankly if you can pull 16 clean on ketsarku (plus your fmo sdgs you have) chances are you could fair in D5 you just don't want to actually have to try. You want to be somewhere where the win is pretty much in the bag. That's unfair to the rest.

Difficulties are more commonly referred to as their actual title, typically abbreviated once you get to level 10 or higher (Very Challenging = VC, For Masters Only = FMO, etc).

Ryusei, it's a little ridiculous that you can't just accept that there are highs and lows in divisions. It's going to happen no matter what. You get over it, do your best and move on.

Not everyone can complete the other challenges that unlock vrofl and the tournament is their better chance. The 50 bil thing itself is a long shot all together unless you already have vrofl and can whore it everyday like Hakulyte and even then its tiring and real hard to touch 50 bil. The 1 bil in a day is also not something most can do because it requires you need a certain skill level to play the songs that will get you to the goal in time. Im just saying you cant really blame the people who complain too much because they rely on this tournament as their unlock and to see them not having a possible chance to even come near it sucks. Tbh though based on the placements in this tourn the only issues are D1 and D6 and any D6 player is easily capable of the 1 bil challenge and D1 range is just huge, might be larger than D6's gap. All the other divisions seem to be fine and anyone has a decent chance of at least coming near placing if they went at it with all they had.

tl;dr, cant really attack people for wanting the token bad and being upset that they dont have a shot of coming near earning it.

Edit: Also about the 1 bil challenge, not everyone has a whole day they can just waste on playing FFR for 24 hours straight so the tournament is a lot easier and better for them to use as their unlock.

yeah but this is only the first round. The songs get harder. i got 4-0-0-0 on d3's song but i shouldn't be moved up just because of that

Because The Rapids was totally out when placements were being done, and the fact that some scores have been achieved from people AFTER the tourney started for example Ca25nada who was moved up.

I know the other option is hard, just mentioning that now there is another option where as before it was only the official tourney that could get it for you.

You're the one saying there's too much of a gap in the divisions. I was pointing out that moving you down is adding to that gap. You're the one sitting here going on and on about something when a ton of people have all told you the same thing. You STILL haven't offered any solution to the problem at all.

I tried to explain to you why it is this way and all you want to keep doing is going on about how people are of difference in skill in the division when it's the same in all divisions meaning it's not possible to do anything about it, and yet you're still going on about something that nothing can be done about and don't want to propose any actual solution. So why are you still going on about it?
