If you are having trouble reading some patterns, it may be because the speed mod is actually too fast for you. I've tried to play on 2x, but I get way too many goods that way because my reaction time just isn't good enough yet. I play on 1.75x and it feels much more natural. Have you tried a slower speed mod to see if reading patterns are easier?

Re: Team Blue's 1st Tournament
Yeah, Ive made my speed mod go higher in order to challenge myself and my PA has gotten better each time I move up. 2.25 is too fast for me and Ive gotten more AAAs and FCs at x2 then any other speed mod. Ive tried to lower it back down to 1.75 but its just too slow now and I get at least 5 times the normal amount of goods.

Re: Team Blue's 1st Tournament
I know the round is over and it wouldn't make a difference, but I noticed these 2 are out of order. I told you that I notice these kinds of things a lot

Re: Team Blue's 1st Tournament
Good, I'm not going crazy, ha ha. I used to not be able to FC challenge songs but now I can do just about any challenging song and quite a few VC songs. Like earlier I played ruins and I couldn't FC it before but today I got a 14-0-0-0 which got me a token which left me pleasantly surprised because I had no idea a token was even tagged with that song.

Re: Team Blue's 1st Tournament
The only time I use 2x is if it's a FGO like I Hate the 80's or NNT. The read and blue notes are too close together to read well on 1.75x

Re: Team Blue's 1st Tournament
Good job kjwkjw! I hope I can AAA it too. I'm afraid I may have to in order to stay in the tourney
I was starting to wonder when we were going to have bonus rounds. Never played this game before, but it was kinda neat. I have the top score of the day (just because it's 5:37 am lol) EDIT: I just realized that I forgot to click the Submit Scores link before taking the SS. If you don't believe it's me, you can check the high scores and see me (Prime8) at the top with 21550. Do I have to do a new one because this one won't count?

Re: Team Blue's 1st Tournament
I edited the rules slightly so that people should click on "Submit Score" and enter their name in the box before taking the screenshot. Sorry I didn't edit that sooner, Prime, but no worries; I'm still accepting your screenshot. If you are gonna try to improve on your score, make sure to take note of the rule update.
Edit: Haha, just saw your edit. But yeah, everything's fine. Here's my score for now: Last edited by HammyMcSquirrel; 04-4-2009 at 05:49 AM.. |

Re: Team Blue's 1st Tournament
Duly noted. And way to go on supping my score. I thought I was so good with my 21k, and you almost double it haha
I was about 50% sure Epidermis was going to be the next song for Expert. I really like the song, but I just have trouble on some parts, forcing me to mash. My best on it is 41-10-0-36, so I'm gonna have to really push myself on this song to stay afloat in this.

Here's my stupid BF on Wish.
First run. Not sure if I've got enough drive to make it an AAA.

The truth is you can't back it up. I lack mentality? Who's the dumb musclehead posting pictures of his "guns" for his avatar? See you're one of those idiots that need to be taught a lesson. (Contradictorials) You're playing with the big boys kid. My advice to you is, next time you want to make a fool out of someone else, come up with something better to say. Your insults are pretty lame bro. Quote:
I would tell you the reason why I'm quitting but some things are better left unsaid. Ignorance is Bliss, they say. Good luck on winning the tournament. Knock em' dead pal. Sorry for interrupting the tournament, but I just felt I needed to be defensive on this one. If anymore comments regarding this topic want to be said please direct them through the pm's system. You can continue with the tournament.
