I saw another guild that was like the other Gnome one you mentioned, just slightly different XD and there's also one called <Halloweenie> which is pointless because it'll only be effective for...well today XD

So what does everyone think is going to be the most op class/spec come caty in terms of PVP? Shadow priests are lookin' pretty good. I'm pulling 1-2 mil damage per bgs.

DoTs and AoE will always generate more damage in BGs, especially ones like AV with so many people crowded around. That doesn't necessairly make them OP.

True, but it doesn't not make them op. Shadow priest have a lot of DoTs(from what i can remember) and it deals a lot of damage regardless as you said. So as far as i'm concerned more damage = more kills = more people yelling "nerf" = op? And if you still don't deem the class overpowered so long as someone cries on the forums something will change. So yea.

The ability to generate a lot of damage in a BG through spamming DoTs and firing off AoEs doesn't mean OP at all. dealing 10,000 damage to each of 20 people is less OP than the guy dealing 40k to 2 people in the same time and actually killing them both.

cause 40k between 2 people will definitely get them killed. And i agree with you on the aoe aspect but the dots? Nah, if someone has you dotted up its going to deal a lot more damage, or at least deal it more consistently which, depending on your class could mean your doom. For example I could dot up a warrior and then LoS him, he could've dealt damage to me, maybe even a decent amount but now he's taking damage and he can't hit me. So I could bandage or recover some other way, while the dots have him locked to some extent. DoTs inevitably have the advantage, more damage on the move and less down time as regards to casting spells, though focus damage is nice, those who have dots have them for a reason. And until level 85 is suppose to "even" everything out, I say its currently somewhat Overpowered.

I kinda meant 40k each to the 2 of them, which kills almost anybody. Also, dotting up one guy and then hiding in LoS sounds more like Arena play than BG play which are two TOTALLY different things.

The point was that 80,000 damage killing 2 people is more overpowered than 200,000 damage killing nobody.
