    Re: TWG XC: Deja Vu

I must have said to you a million times, it wasn't my intent to get him lynch. That's why I didn't include myself in there.

I know you are afro and all, but you should seriously stop over-analysing sometimes.

And to everyone thinking about voting for me, please have the decency to come and talk to me instead of bandwagoning an innocent. Thanks.

emerald, you might want to talk to me if you want to get off the hook. I want to help you but you've dug pretty deep, I'm not going to lie.

arfo, I got this. I'll talk to you in a bit.

I do believe that the small details of everyone's speech make a difference but I don't go advertizing it because the chances of them being mere slip-ups/honest mistakes are pretty grand as well. Arfo, keep those things to yourself. They're not thread material, not with this crowd. They'll only think you're desperate and losing your mind.

that said, emerald is in trouble not for what arfo is accusing him of but for what he said in that log and his current reactions. You've deliberately cornered yourself.

            You still don't understand.

You used the word "you" as a plural to refer to the human team. This means that you see yourself as outside the human team. You see yourself as apart from not only the people who killed gun, but the entire human team.

This is completely apart from you using the word "you" as a plural (doesn't really matter, I just misunderstood your use of it as plural because it's non-standard), or whether or not you truly intended to vote to kill gun (which is a silly argument for you to make, if you didn't want to lynch him, you shouldn't have voted for him).

I know you are afro and all, but you should seriously stop over-analysing sometimes.
yeah well in the last 2 games I played, i identified 2/4 wolves in each of them thanks to my "over"-analyzing

YOU still don't understand. I mixed words. Honest mistake. No need to make such a big case out of it.

You sure killed a lot of humans last game. From last game:
(21:05:13) Afrobean16: im kind of jaded at this point, having all of my choices thus far been way off base
              You even agree.

And don't go off saying you got 2/4 wolves in all of your precedent games as a record. You have over 1/3 chance of getting 2/4 wolves in a game with 16 players, assuming you pick your targets completely at random. That can get a lot higher by using some simple thoughts (wolfed -> human). Using this simple rule, you can get over 3/4 chance by Day 4. So please don't try to get me lynched just because you got some wolves in the other games.

And if that goes on, you will do the same thing this game: killing humans. Your accusations stands on taking my sentences and analyzing how you could get another meaning out of it and words mix-up on my part. Like I said (hell, I must have said to you everything at least twice without success), English isn't my first language and I will often make some weird word choices.

Maybe I should preface it all with the fact that the shortlists were cemented on day 2 of the respective games.

And I have a list of 4 right now on day 2. I'm actually looking forward to finding out how my results this game compare to the past 2.

And if that goes on, you will do the same thing this game: killing humans.
Killing humans is inevitable in this game. I can't beat myself up for playing a part in a human dying, I can only do my best to ensure that it happens as little as possible and keep on keeping on.

And what about you, huh? You played a part in killing gun yesterday. As long as there is a reasoned justification for a vote, it is stupid to get mad at someone for playing a part in lynching a human. Almost every game humans are lynched, but you can't hold the persons who voted to lynch them accountable... unless they were being puppeted by a wolf or something like last game.

English isn't my first language and I will often make some weird word choices.
Well isn't that convenient. So basically I shouldn't be allowed to analyze your writing style or word choice because you "don't know any better"? How do you suggest I find wolves if I'm not allowed to do this? I catch you in a STRAIGHT LIE and I'm not allowed to do this because English isn't your first language?

How do you suggest I catch wolves using social engineering if I can't call you on your lies or your subtle language usage? How do you suggest any of us who are not the seer pick lynch targets if we can't look at each others WORDS to decide who we think are wolves?

You seem to have a perfectly good understanding of language apart from your convenient "misspoken" phrases and factually in incongruent statements. I honestly didn't realize English wasn't your first language until you said something.

First, I have told you multiple times, you didn't catch a STRAIGHT LIE. You simply caught a voluntary omission. Saying "I am voting gun because of blah blah blah. But I am not serious in it. I simply want to spark discussion. So, do it. Please? Ok?" doesn't have the same impact. And I knew saying it afterward would raise suspicion from you afro. You asked me, I told you the blatant truth. But saying that won't change anything for you. As soon as you set your mind, there's nothing I can say that will change your mind because you hold "the truth".

As for the English language, you are totally free to analyze me and my actions, but accusing me (hey you bolded it) because I didn't use the correct expression in "dying to tell you" is a little over-the board. There's a difference in analyzing what is said and analyzing when someone didn't use the word they wanted.

And stop saying there was incongruent statements. You think they are incongrent because you aren't listening to the reasoning behind them. Hell, you aren't even listening to anything. So I think you will be better off dead. No matter what team you are on, you are hurting the humans. So I am voting for you afro.

Voting emerald for now. If you want me to change the vote, talk to me on AIM, as I'm curious how you plan on saving yourself. Those logs are pretty bad for you, and not just because you made a silly freudian slip. The "deliberate omission" separated yourself from the humans in such a way that made it pretty obvious you're a wolf.

emerald, i dont like what i saw in that aim conversation. You clearly weren't trying to simply "spark discussion." in your vote post for gun. A more direct and accusing post i have yet to see. Worse yet, you didn't acknowledge what was clear to anyone who read your vote post, you instead tried several times to convince afro that your vote post wasnt the start of a gun bandwagon, and did a poor job of it. The way you decided to separate yourself from the human team in regards to voting for gun just adds fuel to the fire. You started the movement to vote for gun, whether you want to acknowledge it or not, and trying to deny this just makes you seem more and more suspicious. Talk to me on aim or post something that isn't you trying to change what has already been said if you want to convince me to change my vote.
