I pick armor penetration runes for faster clear times and take 21 points in Defense masteries because those wolves do a ton of damage...

this just in phreak makes every new hero look op so people spend rp on them

then they are either 1) op as balls or 2) totally suck and nobody plays them for 3 months and then they become op

Kings of Europe finals was probably one of the best games of LoL I've seen from a spectator point of view.
Jatt turns out to be a really good commentator with excellent, easy-to-understand insight and Deman is of course a pretty energetic shoutcaster, I find it a nice team.

One of those announcers expressed confusion over why Gangplank would get an Infinitedge. I thought that was like... a core item for any gp to synergize with his Q.

problem is if you die too fast what's the point

if you grab infinity edge you lose out on a LOT of survivability

I would think the build for GP would be like... Merc Treads, Warmog's, Atma's, Infinitedge, Aegis, and something situational (maybe a Frost Mallet). That doesn't seem that squishy.

I play Rumble as a support

I pick up flat attack damage runes so my autoattacks help my fellow AD carry in lane and take magic pen/armor pen hybrid runes, however you can play Rumble as an AD carry too. Most of his long-range auto attacks really come in handy when you go up against an AP carry with a support on bottom lane.

The confusion was over why he got it without Atmog's first. All he had was Merc Treads, Wriggle's, some support shit, and a Giant's Belt... at 35 minutes into the game. And he went for an Infinity Edge next.

You realize Atmog's takes the better part of a game to build usually, the weirdness was getting Infinity Edge with so little survivability.
I took it as a sign of being extremely confident about positioning, which was clearly not the case lol

that last game was like hmm.. hmm...

The "whoa" moment for me was when CLG had the balls to go for 2 turrets + inhibitor when M5 tried to rush Baron.

Which game was that? Can I get a link? And I don't think you can build an IE on GP without him lacking something else (survivability, absorbing huge damage)

edit: How did this build look for Lee Sin? The game was sadly a defeat because it was a 4v5 and we couldn't outlast split pushing from the other team

The stats I had late-game (all general guesses) was 215~230 armor, 200 magic resist, and around 247 AD. I had flat yellow Armor runes, flat blue MR, movement speed quints, and armor pen reds. Reason for the FoN was because their Annie/Cass was fed and I needed some kind of way to take them out quickly (additional slow from Frozen Mallet w/ Tempest)
