When it asks you the game mode in stepmania you can pick singles, solo, or doubles

single is 4 keys, solo is 6, and doubles is 8

Thanks, Ill try this some time, I play with a ITG2 skin that doesnt support Solo. Sounds fun though.

fffff is awesome... MA and PA are kind of bleh really but I've never come close to FC'ing.

AA'd J'ai Envie today, finally. It was a really bad run except for the 32nd parts, where I got about 4 cb's. 11 total and about 95 million machine.

Exag0n probably AAA's this with his eyes closed now but it's good for me. I always miss 3 from the same jack for some reason, and I also got some random miss in the jumpstream after the jacks and before the 32nds, but I combo'd the rest. I think the greats were all or mostly from the 32nds, and so were most of the perfects.


EDIT: OK, I tried fffff again to see if I could come near to Exag0n's score yet, and these are what I got:

Machine score improved, as did PA (dramatically). Two really silly misses in easy parts, the 48th roll and the ending 32nds.


Don't know why, but I have a lot of trouble PAing the ending. First FC.

Something like 2nd or 3rd try. Seemed like decent MA (probably not good PA).


PR#1, best CBs to date (the good came in the freezy jacky section in the first half). MA and PA are probably horrendous, but I don't care; I want to FC.


Small improvement in overall reading, as shown above.


WTF-worthy PA (probably due to my right contact lens falling out due to dryness >_<), but really good MA. I wonder whether you could beat it Dy

I usually do better on the sightread than the following 5-10 tries LoL. I guess it's because i pay more attention and expect anything. One thing that i will not have anytime soon is that ma xD

Compared to mine, I guess the MA is okay. PA and CBs are godawful though.

Looking at the voltage bar, you could probably tell that both misses were from the final 48th roll that I naturally would have to fuc up given that I was FCing. Like, duh.

Believe it or not, I have much less trouble MAing this on 1.5x rate than I do on 1.0x. I guess I'm not the only one, but it was still a bit surprising I guess.

PR#3 is weird, I guess on a song with so few arrows I somehow got a higher machine with almost twice the perfects rofl. Oh well.

AA'ing was pretty hard. I've also been improving steadily on some other songs, nothing major though I guess. Will post more at a later date when I get my first solo FC .

I'm leaving for Japan tomorrow, so I'm posting as many good scores as I can today


I'll AAA sometime soon, I hope. I've had better ma (68) but I hope to AAA with under 60 when I get back from vacation (on August 7th).


Got this on SMO (as you can see). Got the good in a silly easy place, but the machine spelled "PR wreckage." Hope to AAA this someday too.

Edit: I recorded a vid on my digicam. It's of decent quality, even though the filesize is humongous (I'm new to the whole vidding scene >_<). I didn't show judge or .ini but to be honest, I don't even know where to change those settings (=O) so I didn't feel the need to do it. Yeah, and the score isn't even that great, so whatever, I'm not worried about it.
