You can only kill so many fish before they start giving you no points. You have to complete the pipe then get all those anti-piranha plant things to move on to the next level, then you'll be able to start getting points again. If it weren't this way, I'd probably be able to max out the score on the first level lol.

holy crap only 4 players move on. time to whore this game (almost said song lol) like crazy.

edit: i was gonno say you should make it to who gets furthest but whatever is on the screen stops giving u points after a while .

re-edit: OMFG i died at 3-1 i was expecting it to be so hard but it was so easy. Grrr. i usually lose all of my lives on 1-3 and 2-1. those boos are so fricken unpredictable.

1-2 is easy . just watch where they are going. they are actually predictable unlike 1-3 which the boos can change direction. i just got a godly score for the world i got to...how the f? i think this will get me in top 4 for sure. i donno if i wanna post it tho XD

IMPORTANT:



There is a way to tell if scores in this game are legitimate or not. Whenever you get a high score(circled in red), there is always a code indicated below it(circled in blue). Someone could easily forge a screenshot of a score and a code, but by the following method you can determine if it is legitimate.

1. Open mariopac.cfg in any text editor.



2. Replace the score in the cfg file(circled in red) with the score of questioned legitimacy.

3. Enter the digits from the code in the screenshot to replace the digits of the code in the cfg file(circled in blue).

4. Save the cfg file and start up mariopac.

5. If the high score at the game menu is there, the high score is legitimate. If the high score shows as 0000, it's not.

Someone such as itmorr or Tasselfoot could verify scores if they look suspicious. And might I suggest that all posted scores be from the game menu with the code underneath for verification.

Important Note: The 1 at the end of the cfg file isn't part of the code!

Did pretty insane here, started getting 1000's like crazy. I think I may have a strategy for maximizing points. Anyone else know what I mean?

Only 2-5, but got tons of 1000's. I played the game for quite a while this afternoon since I'm going on vacation tomorrow. This will likely be my best score in this game

well so far you've got nothing to worry about since it's the best score out of anyone.

Stupid thing happened to me, I had 43,000 on level 2-1, and I ran out of water and landed on the side of the pipe that had no water. So I was trapped
