Re: The Fitness Thread
Thanks, bro^^ Also if you do cheat meals, it'll reset your leptin levels, and make you burn faster.
205 at below 10% is beasting, dude. I know bodybuilders who are at the 212 range that look like theyre in the 250s.

Wow, that's a good find. Definitely a good read for anybody getting into lifting (or a good refresher for those of us that feel like we know everything already--Seeing a couple of those again were definitely good for me). I'm bookmarking this one...may steal it and make a flyer of it for my gym lol.
If you're having a hard time with creatine, ingest a few more carbohydrates with your doses. Creatine is best absorbed when insulin levels are elevated, and I believe that some people even have a tendency to become slightly hypoglycemic if they just take it straight. I've forgotten the exact physiology of this...just take it as accurate broscience from personal experience at the mo' though lol. Mixing it with fruit juice or eating something like a half a bagel or a slice or two of bread before/immediately after may relieve any nausea. That's how it works for me, at least.Last edited by rebelrunner26; 08-16-2012, 12:50 AM.sigpicComment

Re: The Fitness Thread
Same weight as yesterday... a good sign that I'm probably done losing water-weight. Now it's time to start burning shit. >

Re: The Fitness Thread
Do some HIIT sprints, those are sick for burning fat. It gets tough once you're doing really low carbs, but push through it.
Did legs today, got a double PR. Squats with 405x8, then lost the form so did front squats with 275x8. Pretty happy.Comment

Re: The Fitness Thread
My new push routine - tearing up chest, tris and shoulders!
Barbell Bench Press: 180 lb x 3 sets
Incline Dumbbell Bench Press: 60 lb x 3 sets
Hammer Machine Press: 225 lb x 3 sets
Machine Flyes: 90 lb x 3 sets
Machine Shoulder (Military) Press: 125 lb x 3 sets
Machine Triceps pulldowns: 60 lb x 3 sets
If you can handle it, I would insert standard dumbbell shoulder press instead of machine but my tendinitis prevents me from doing it.Last edited by Reach; 08-17-2012, 10:20 AM.
