    Brawl's been out less than a month. Give people time to get used to it, and get better at it. It will undoubtedly develop differently than how Melee did, but it will develop. Give it time.
    They said that about Halo 3...theres a chance it could speed up, but I doubt it.

      Well I've never played Halo, so if you could elaborate, maybe I'd understand what you're getting at.

      I'm assuming, based on your post, that Halo 3 turned out less competitive than Halo 2, and that people said not to worry about it; H3 would get better. And it didn't. Is that more or less right?

          Pretty much. It got better, but nowhere near as good.

            Snake has 5 things that make him an awesome character, and only two drawbacks.

            Pros:
            -Midweight character, can take a beating.
            -High powered attacks that employ traps into combos
            -A claymore on the edge of the stage makes for a difficult recovery for your enemies
            -His B^ is one of the best recoveries in the game & you can attack again afterwards
            -Final Smash is one of the best

            Cons:
            -Slow B moves
            -Weak against speed characters

              Ok, Mewtwo was by far my favorite character in Melee. Since he's kicked out, is Lucario anything like him?, like, did they make him as a better version of Mewtwo?

                  How did people seriously expect this to obvious oversight to be present in Brawl? That would be like expecting negative world from SMB to be present in SMB3.

                  Ok, Mewtwo was by far my favorite character in Melee. Since he's kicked out, is Lucario anything like him?, like, did they make him as a better version of Mewtwo?
                  Mewtwo's all super gay floaty. My understanding is that Lucario is supposed to be similar though, so I would personally expect his moveset to be similar and for him to handle in a similar gay floaty manner as well.

                        All characters can grab onto the edge.

                        Perhaps you mean from a distance, like Link's hookshot or Samus's energy grapple thing? How would he do that? WITH PSI ENERGY?

                          He's talking about the "Wall Cling," where characters can attach themselves to any part of a wall for some period of time. I think Diddy can do it as well as Lucario.

                              Like Walljumps. They add that **** in Melee and... what... all stages with walls are instantly banned in competitive play? And even ignoring that, how is that ever even useful for anything other than the target stage? Even a level with walls and ****... I don't see how walljumps or wallclinging could be useful ever in this game.

                              Except for maybe custom maps which are made specifically to require this to get by. I think there is one stage in Brawl that might give a benefit to walljumpers as well... the massive one; you know what I'm talking about. Then again, it's probably already banned from competitive play also due to giving evasive players too much room to avoid close fighting.

                              And really, I thought they added this capability for all characters, just with varying levels of "strength" depending on the character. Is it really limited to a random smattering?

                                actually i saw a video were lucario attached himself to the side of the final destination stage and then he jumped back to the stage...so it's actually very useful... and so is in the subspace emissary
