Re: Turbo XIII: Pew Pew Role Game Thread
Well, show me something that tells the rest he's not town. Thus far I feel he's pretty towny from his usual demeanor.

See though, it's instances like this that make me think turbo (and maybe TWG as a whole) isn't played enough on a case-by-case basis, rather than the reputation driven game that it is now. It's hard to say he (or anyone) is not going for a believable town mindset right now. A good example as well of how I think towns naturally have it out for themselves is due to general shit disturbing behaviour that causes people to become mislabeled (see: most of haku's posts) which just inherently makes the game more favourable towards wolves. That said, it does make the game more enjoyable perhaps, and definitely makes it more lively, but it is this kind of thing that causes mislynching, and when paired with using reputation to protect people from wolfreads, it creates a situation where there are two factors actively working against town very strongly, which benefits nothing but wolves.

The fact that your clearing him so early makes me wonder if you've learned from the past.

Speaking of using meta. Last game I played with him he did exactly what you just said. Made some posts after calling out a player, but then immediately went and said "I'm trying not to be suspicious." Just, y'know, throwing that out there for you. |

Because IIRC you engaged Freezin with an accusation, get challenged pretty hardcore and then came up with the Freezin response you wanted yourself....??? If it was just an excuse to back off a shitvote because it's shitvoting, why repost this reasoning instead of just saying it was a shitvote to begin with? Quote:

Re: Turbo XIII: Pew Pew Role Game Thread
Hey cel is pretty awesome for saying that. I was thinking those thoughts as I watched town implode last game. I specifically asked sunfan if dbp was suspicious and he was firmly of the opinion that wolf dbp would be super easy to catch.
Metas arnt static. Sleep on people at your own risk

Re: Turbo XIII: Pew Pew Role Game Thread
Here's a shocker: 90% of the time your going to burn yourself if you look for activity as an alignment indicator. Just because someone is talking doesn't mean they're town. The inverse is obviously true

I hope my response to two segments in particular is enough, if you want analysis on the rest other than a "I can agree" then let me know.

Re: Turbo XIII: Pew Pew Role Game Thread
I think choof is a human. Seems like the meta around here is to lynch him because he MIGHT be a wolf but at that point we might As well lynch haku because he MIGHT be a wolf.
Then again, he might be the vigi. Could the vigi please claim to the thread so that we don't mislynch him |

A might for someone being a wolf seems more ideal than most other d0 reads, since distinctive arguments are difficult to make until first night strikes, and the first little bit of D1.
