I don't even play more than a couple of games a month anymore but I have 246k credits. I wonder if the FFR staff could possibly set up a trading deal with Kongregate or OMGPOP?

Re: Value of the credit and credit sinks
How do you guys even get that many credits? I mean I'd say I'm a very average player and I get about 8 credits a song, I will never in my life time get the purchased songs or secret songs which seems....unfair?
Another thing I'm not happy with is the veteran status requirements...3 billion points needed to become a veteran after 3 years? I've been a member for over 6 years, if that's not veteran I don't know what is. 3 billion points my ass haha |

Veteran status is given to active users of the site. In six years it really should have been pretty easy to obtain 3 billion points over that many years. |

As for the veteran status, I think it's pretty fair the way it is. I have just over 5,000 games played and a total score of 2.42 billion, and I'm a below-average player. The amount of time you spent on the site doesn't mean much in my opinion. There are thousands of accounts that have been here for a long time but haven't had any activity years. For example, my brother's account. Even though he's been a site member for 4.36 years, he hasn't logged in for more than a year, has only 88 plays, and zero forum posts. In my opinion, that doesn't make him eligible for a veteran of anything on this site.

Re: Value of the credit and credit sinks
1) High combos give you way more points, it's not based on the song difficulty at all. Literally 60% of the final score on a song is based on the max combo you got. If you want more credits or grandtotal you should be playing on songs that you can full combo (or get a few misses max) rather than songs that are too hard for you.
2) As you get used to getting good combos on harder and harder songs, you will also be able to do well on stuff with more arrows per second, which means faster credit accumulation. 3) If you haven't already, switch to spread (index and middle finger of each hand, on a key setup like askl or zx,. or qwop). It will be awkward at first but your skill will rocket upwards once you get used to it. 4) You've only played 508 games. You may have had an account for a long time but you need to play the game itself a lot more than that to get high amounts of grandtotal. The veteran title is for people who have been around for a while but who also played a lot of FFR. A good player can get somewhere around a million points a game and even at that level it takes maybe 3000 games to get 3 billion grandtotal, so don't expect it to come really quickly, but if you keep at it you will definitely achieve that total.
