But speaking of phantoms and instas, maybe this game mechanic should be tweaked. It's kind of bogus for us to abuse it like this to be honest. The point of it is so that if a person is waiting until late in the day to vote and an insta happens early in the day, they won't be penalized, but we pull instas right at the deadline to abuse this. It's not as though people are waiting until the final SECOND to vote to save themselves from phantoms.

yea, agreed. I think we've gotten to know which people are never active/get a **** ton of phantoms and who's active in general and gets votes in on time. but yea, hrm, you do bring up the good point that maybe freez was seered red by gun... LOL. in which case, WHOOPS.

Freeze may just think it would be dumb for Gun to have thrown himself in the lime life in such a fashion, seeing as he (Freeze, not Gun) is new. He could also find it to be ridiculous if he was green since that would nix the whole seering him red idea, so I don't think it was a acidental seer claim, I think hes just new. I'm on AIM again (Finally), so yeah, free to discuss stuff, although I may respond slowly at first, due to playing a game.

This basically. I'm not claiming seer, i'm just saying it would be next to impossible for me to consider gun the seer since:

A) He basically threw himself out in the open with a random vote. If he was a seer why would he do that? The only way i could see that happening was if he was extremely confident that he could make things flow his way and was 100% sure i was a wolf via seering. I observed, however, that his stance was anything but solid, and he started to break up and showed symptoms of withdrawal after only 2-3 votes his way. The last few posts before his lynching were also extremely thoughtless and gave of the vibe of someone who doesnt care if they live or die. Typical seer behavior?

B) He went after me cause I "rubbed him the wrong way." Not a problem, however if he was a seer and bothered to seer me he would have noticed im green. That completely shuts out the possiblity of him being a seer, to me anyways. What kind of seer seers someone, then goes after someone else that they have no information on?

C) Even as he was being voted, he didnt even mention the remote possiblity of himself being a seer. Not sure about the policy of when seers should reveal themselves, but i know if someone was voting me and i was the seer, i would at least pm the voters that info. A dead seer is useful to nobody, and staying alive should be on the top of a seers priority list.

So, in conclusion, Gun. Human? probably. Wolf? Its a possiblilty. Seer? No.

So I made a mistake in my vote count. An insta was not reached. Gun92 still dies, but u84 and BDN have received phantoms.

nobody in their right mind would do that. The risk factor is huge. Maybe I'd contact a single influential voter to try to change the tide but gun's fate was sealed long before everyone else started voting for him.

in other words, you don't know if gun was the seer or not. What you would have done had you been the seer in that position wouldn't have worked anyway. It's a stupid plan. We forgive you.

The "A dead seer is no use to anyone" excuse does NOT work. Ever. Gun was going to die regardless of an insta and regardless of what he did to counter it.

It makes all the difference in the world right? It's not like you'd be killed the following night if your attempts to save yourself aren't anything but obvious (and they wouldn't be!).
