Seeing the reference now, even its text looks off. You've done a great job on it, I take the critique of mine back. Amazing at how CLOSE the text fonts are between your work and the reference. I'm assuming finding them took the longest in your project.

Thank you I had to make the text from scratch, unfortunately. Making them took the longest ;P didn't bother with finding them, I tried taking a cleaner photo and looking it up on whatthefont.com, but nothing came up 100% exact. Nevertheless it's done and I'm happy it's done @__@ thanks again

Oh right, that reminds me DUH I forgot to add highlights and tones to the text, no wonder.

Just a 10 hour sketch. Done in illustrator. If I had more time (I had one day due to some uncanny circumstances) it would be far more realistic.

This. Is. Amazing.

I have always wanted to do something like this but in a more painted style. This is pure amazingness. Mega props.

I must admit, I learn quite a bit from tracing, gets you right face to face with tones and value and all that fun stuff.

Thanks the thong!

Realized. Did this with pen at work and added the white with pastel at home. Going to start working with pastel more often I really love the way the white and the shadow on the white came out
