It's worse than random.

If you bet 100 credits and lose it, you lose 100 credits.

However, if you bet 100 credits and win it, you win only 90 credits.

"Random" doesn't imply anything about how fair it is, though.

Incidentally, funny story: on my first 27 bets, I had 6 wins. That's right, 6. 22.22%. I really should've quit then and just stayed at the bottom, since it's not like I came out positive the next time either. I'd be interested to know the "trick", if there is one and it isn't just "certain users are given an advantage and can win as much as they want".
