Some speculation states that this roster still has room to grow, but other people just believe that's wishful thinking. Then again, if you can truly get the entire roster in under 8 hours...

Edit: Falcon and Olimar are pairs for SSE. That one is obvious.

Also, this might be fake, but...

After all that arguing of how he wouldn't be in the game you must feel like an asshole...

Your reasoning essentially boiled down to, "I don't think he's important" and, "he's not a game character". This is apparently wrong, seeing as for a two-game accessory, he's important enough to reappear as a robotic support team, a kart racer, an elite bodyguard team for the Ancient Minister himself, and now it appears as a rogue character.

Had your argument been based on something more solid, like the semantic issue that surrounded final smashes back when the smash ball was revealed, I might be more inclined to be sympathetic. As it stands though, you basically just got stubborn, despite the evidence that had bubbled up.

You mean rumors.

I had evidence. R.O.B. was a bad guy in the Subspace Emissary. R.O.B. isn't a protagonist in any game out there, let alone a playable character in any major game (cameos don't count). R.O.B. wasn't even a worthwhile peripheral (receiving one of the top 5 worst peripherals of all time on ScrewAttack's top ten list).

You completely called Lucario? Speculation about it happened a week ago, that hardly justifies you're right.

I was wondering if Captain Olimar would make it into the rosters when SSBB was announced to be released, that's making a prediction. Not some lame ass prediction after the confirmation. That's like saying you totally called Link would be in SSBB after we saw him in the videos.

EDIT: Also, what are you talking about? Most people wanted R.O.B to be a character based on the grounds of he was in a couple of games before, making him a prime candidate for a character. Squeek said that R.O.B would be in the SSE, but not as a character using a couple of pictures and movies. R.O.B is as minute as a character in the games he appeared as Tingle was in Zelda. No one strongly argued that Tingle would appear in Brawl! Heck, Tingle seemed like a better character at R.O.B because he actually did something in games!

Sorry, "evidence" was a slip. I did mean rumours, strong ones.

And regarding your last sentence: THAT IS EXACTLY THE ATTITUDE THAT CAME OFF YOUR ORIGINAL POSTS. I tried remaining civil, and I essentially pointed out that the possibility of R.O.B. being included was simply high. You took the stance of one who defends their opinion like it's a fact of their religion, which really just rubbed me the wrong way.

And your evidence wasn't really evidence. Yes, his roles were minor in other games, he has not been forgotten. The whole original R.O.B. theory basis was that one of the R.O.B. units (AM's elite bodyguards, so of course they are good fighters) went rogue. And as a peripheral, yes it did fail; however, this game is Nintendo, and R.O.B. is an integral part of Nintendo's history, like it or not.

Maybe I should leave this alone for a while though. Getting mad at someone over the internet tends to create problems for me in the offline world.

The sites died from bandwidth issues.

They were just posting dozens of images every minute from the video feed.

In other news, if I can find the video feed again, I'll tune in and see if I can't find any other new information.
