Now that silkroad is gone, if the value isn't already on a sharp downward trend, it sure will be once the trial is over.

We were talking about this in prochat earlier, and it took such a stunningly small number of screwups to end silkroad, that nobody remotely "reputable" is going to be risk trying it again for a good long time.

silkroad isn't the only use....you can purchase VPNs with no legitimate traceback to any of your actual accounts or personal information - extremely useful for CINT/HUMINT whistleblowers like snowden; you can trade the foreign exchange, and instead of having the USD as the foreign exchange rate independant variable, you can have BTC as the staple monetary figure, that doesn't rely on GDP. think about it that way.

housing market in Calgary is INSANE and houses are selling like hotcakes faster than they can be built. That is probably one of the few places using houses for profit is a good idea
