The current incarnation of "FFR The Game" or FFR R1 if you want to call it that, is second style. It replaced the original first style quite some time ago.
Third style is going to be the next incarnation of the new game. Integrating all of the fixes that have been developed, and modifying the UI and the scoring system to emphasize PA over Combo much more than is now, among many other things.
Some of the better songs from second style are going to be moving over to third style, but likely with entirely new stepfiles, plus a whole pile of new music. This means chances are good that second style may remain playable as is, since people might be upset at having the vast majority of 400+ simfiles just poof.
There is no firm release date on 3rd style, so any date anyone quotes you is either made up, or a date that doesn't exist because they are a smartass trying to be cute. It will be released once it is done, whenever that happens to be.Comment
