Holy fucking hell. How did a discussion...about grammar...turn into a godamn flame war? The problem is that you two are trying to force the other to see your own views, and your own views are that people should conform to the grammar you want them to conform to. Here's how internet grammar is summed up, plain and simple. You can choose to write correctly, or you can choose to write like a moron. There's nothing stopping you from writing like a moron. Just know that you'll be held in less respect and people will think less of your posts. That's all.
The state of grammar on FFR...

i was just trying to defend myself b/cs i personally dont think typing how i type makes me look like a moron. unfortunately, people refuse to listen to each other's ideas. i at least tried to see from his view point, but i dont think he even reads anything that i type.
and you guys talk about it taking time to get respect. i've been here longer than alot of people, i just never posted on the forums until recently. i'm not saying you guys should instantly respect me, but dont instantly think i'm an idiot. kinda like innocent until proven guilty, people on message boards should be competent until proven idiotic.
to sum things up, i would like to say that it's people like in the quote below who should be attacked about their grammar, not me.

Kenzya's right... again. Sorry about that... I didn't realize it got that far. Keep doing whatever it is you want to do and I apologize for getting on your case about things. You made plenty of compelling arguments about my posts and it's not that I didn't reply to them, it's that I couldn't.
I'm ending the "Flame War" right here. We're both right, we're both wrong. Either way, we're never going to convince the other that whatever we think is right and that they are wrong. This is what happens when two intelligent people go at it with words. I apologize again.
