we have a guy at school who's a bit too much into god. He said if he ever heard God telling to kill me he wouldn't hesitate. I told him that i was from Roman descent traced back to Pontius Pillate. I then said you know what that means? I killed Jesus. His response was to push me into a poll when a teacher was walking past. he got suspended cause the teacher hate him too

Izzy, you are going WAY too far here. Stop attacking Christianity. Stretchy was simply stating belief, but not as fact. If it's getting less amusing, leave the thread. We don't appreciate your presence. Don't worry, we won't miss you.

In response to Guido's post... accepting Christ as your savior in many Protestant sects is all that is necessary to be saved. There no saying that this is absolute truth... it's only a belief. The idea of being a good person of course is expected, but is technically not necessary. I know it doesn't make much sense, but that's how it works.

Well if you've read the bible that's pretty much what it says Izzy. You have to accept Christ as your saviour and basically be a morally good person.

See, here's where Izzy's little posts pop in. Everyone's so down with the idea that "all I gotta do is BELIEVE!" and you'll be saved. Personally, I really doubt it's like that. But it's up to you and I'm not here to shove my beliefs down your throats. 'K? Everyone take that attitude and quit flaming each other over religion.

This topic has gone way off-focus and it's turning into a Christ-battle like every other religion topic ever made on any forum (except for one that I've seen). Can we get back to the essay that was written and how it's good/bad? --;

Believe me, I'm well aware. Growing up a Catholic in the buckle of the Bible Belt, I became rather informed of Protestantism. I just don't like passing up the chance to bring up that point.

Im not here to prove anything. Obviously i cant be proving anything. You cant. And the way you judge stupidity over the internet disgusts me. You do relize anyone can just change they way they act on the internet in a matter of secconds. Its all acting. Which is easy because its over the internet.
