Lucas's moves are almost exactly the same as Ness's.

I think Sakurai just got bored of using Ness and replaced him with Lucas. If he truly doesn't want any clones, there's no way he'd put Ness back in with his old move list. Either he's getting completely new moves or he's just not in the game anymore.

ps - nothing about a hidden home-run bat?

Home-run bats are one of the best items on the game. I know their gonna be back on there, update or no update.

I don't think squeek was talking about that since it was pretty much confirmed that the item is coming back.

Moving on, I see a lot of you are getting tired of the updates. In which case, I would say don't check the site daily. Check it per the week - two weeks so you get the information all at once. Personally I love checking it daily. I get aggravated if its just music or something. I like pictures . Oh well, either way, one of the main reasons they pushed the game back was to add more characters right? I can't be disappointed.

Ness will be back. so far they have most of the characters back, or they haven't been announced because they're unlockable. Maybe Lucas isn't secret but they made Ness unlockable like N64.

If he doesn't come back then that's great.

I'd rather have Lucas than Ness, he seems more fun, and I love the sound of a foe being frozen. Plus his PK Fire is always sideways, Ness's annoyed me when I was in mid-air. And hopefully his down smash has more of a knockback than Ness's yo-yo.

The yo-yo did kinda suck and was a pretty useless weapon. I only relied on the baseball bat and his throwing skills. But they need to talk about some real Brawlers like Mario, Link, or Samus.

One of the only special things i have not learned was how to use the Yo-yo to make spike/thunder jackets and death lines and weird **** like that.

As if a yo-yo could do all that by a kid that always wears a stiped shirt, blue pants, a red cap, and always carries a damn bat around with some weird little thing on his head called Mr. Saturn. Give me a break, I'll kill Lucas and Ness. Besides, Lucas just looks like Ness with a Johnny Bravo hairdo.

Norfair looks like Brinstar Depths and Zebes combined. It looks pretty cool though. I might try it as the first stage I play on this game.
