Seriously, I just can't understand you half the time. The "debate" about tournaments, items, etc. has long since passed and both sides have come to an agreement of sorts. I have no interest in rekindling that. Nothing in my post even hinted at that notion. I have no idea why you think I am beginning that argument again.

My point was that this update wasn't useful for us. If I didn't say that, someone else would've said the exact same thing. FFR.com is a site where a certain demographic visits. A huge majority of the people who come here are gamers. A huge majority of gamers know / played Super Smash Bros. Melee. Therefore, when an 'update' references information from Melee, I can safely conclude that the update won't mean much to the general population of this website.

Calm down. I wasn't even saying that you were starting an arguement. I was just stating that Smash Bros 64 is over and Melee will soon be over. We're all moving to Brawl. All I asked is that can we give it a rest. Is that too much?

You're still not even remotely close to understanding what's going on in this thread. At all.

I'd suggest reading some of it. You're talking to the one person in this thread who finished playing Melee four years ago and never went back to it.

Moving on from what Squeek is talking about, they've given somemore useless updates except the fact that Gray Fox from the Metal Gear series is now an assist trophy. Seems pretty cool from what I see.

Well, I played both SB and Melee, but I check out the site for anything new they will add. Like when they announce a new character, that gets my attention. New items, cool. Modes, the more the merrier. They even announced custom stages that you can build. Man I can't wait for Feb. 10.

I'm a little tired of these updates. Either it's useless to me, or it's an assist trophie. I want some music that I can relate to, not Fire Emblem. I liked the Fox movie, but I don't know where it leads from there so I'm going to forget about it soon. I want to see some new music, stages, and maybe a character or two.

I really hate coming on at night, and seeing there was two pages of posts that I missed.

Seems like Sakurai's doing his job right: just making everyone salivate for more. It wouldn't be as fun if he posted something OMG every single weekday.

I want new stages, music, and characters too, but you know how Nintendo is when it comes to revealing things. They always want to keep their fans on the edge of their seats and then right when they're about to fall out, they release the game. But I can wait. Its like I said in a earlier post, I'd rather have a more polished and slowly developed game than a rushed pile of trash that gets knocked onto the market only to fail.

Sorry for the double post but since no one has seen the update yet, Its Lucas's B special moves. Their about the same as Ness's except that Lucas shoots Ice instead of thunder and his PK fire goes sideways even in the air. I'd rate this update with a 6.5/10 because I don't really care for the characters of Earthbound.

There’s a character named Ness who has appeared in the Smash Bros. series up until now, and Lucas is very similar.

I interpret that as Ness being one of the characters that's not returning for Brawl.
