Head over to the FFR Batch Forum for all the details on how you can get your file into the game. The Artist Permissions forum section will help you find out if FFR has permission to use the song your file goes with.
Going to try and get the current set of reviews out today, bit busy as of late with work and dealing with end of semester shit and trying to find a new place to live so things have been a bit crazy but I'll still try to get the reviews out today, I don't want to rush them and end up making rash judgments.
We'll include your reviews with the batch we're reviewing today. My reviews are already typed up just waiting for some more people from the group to take a look.
[SonicX] croiX (revision) - Rejected (for now)
A lot better than your first attempt but sounds are still missing all over the place and some of the 32nds are still pretty awkward. Not going to point out everything again this time but this could still use some work. Some places your layering is still very hard to identify as well (starting at 65.739 is probably the worst section for this, I really can't tell what you're doing here). Overall it just needs too much work and the progress between the first submission and this just isn't really good enough for me to have much faith in this getting good enough, sorry man.
[CAFO] The Woven Web - Accepted
Huge improvement over the first attempt. File is crazy fun now. Only thing a few of us saw when looking through it is that there's a few extra notes in places that sounds are either not there or are very hard to hear, wouldn't mind you going through and giving it another polish before the pack comes out, but we'll take it as is.
[rparty89] Zirkfied - Conditional
Only a few small mistakes are holding me back on instantly accepting this:
Very beginning piano section is off sync, sync feels a little wacky in some spots throughout the file but the beginning was by far the most significantly off.
(times are from ddream and may be off very slightly compared to SM editor)
8.934 - Missing piano note here? I think this is intentional as well because its a low piano note and everything else you stepped was clearly the right hand of the piano, just curious why you left this one out since its quite prominent.
13.946 - Why did you leave the piano out here? Also happens at 18.529
78.532 - Missing piano note here, I'm guessing this is a mistake based on how you stepped this section
That's all I can really see, the only fix that I would say is really required is the beginning sync issue, the 8.934s an 13.946s issues I mentioned might be slightly subjective.
I'm also going to argue that you should take the long 12th jumpjacks and put them on the same hand, those are really huge difficulty spikes compared to the rest of the file.
Here's a comment from the skype group that also should be put here:
my main problems were the 12th gallop sections (like 3[24], 4[12], etc.) having no variance in layering when there are additional sounds during that part (see 53s-ish for example)
Just take another good stab at this and I think it'll make an amazing addition to the pack, its close!
[Tsuka] A Tisket A Tasket - Conditional
Song reminds me of something Scintill might step, definitely not a lot of people try and tackle songs like this. Chart is pretty solid overall, biggest (and most obvious) issue with it is sync. BPM should be 125 exactly and the offset seems about 70ms off (your beats being early, I think that means it needs a lower offset? I'm not sure since I usually sync stuff in ddream. My other complaint is that the couple of minijacks around 88s into the file seem a little out of place. They seem to be the only two in the song and I'm not entirely sure which sounds you're stepping them to there, you could probably make a point to keep them though.
[Tsuka] Wildstyle - Conditional
Popular song to try stepping lately (I actually have a WIP I started on this a long time ago but never finished for one reason or another). Once again, biggest issue here is sync, seems about 70-80ms early again. BPM should also be exactly 140 not 140.01.
I'm also not convinced that switching to straight 8ths on the highhat (all placed on 3/up here) is really the best choice to make starting at 15.477s (ddream time, SM times are usually off by a few ms). It feels like a step backwards compared to where its coming from.
141.867s - Why are these 16ths? You have them as 24ths everywhere else. Mistake I'm assuming.
146.367 (the 8th note hold here) should be a jump, just given the context a single note here doesn't feel appropriate to me (and your other layering decisions make this feel wrong too).
189.864 - 24th minijack why?
For the mini jacks later in the song, I made a it was a layering choice. I'll look it over one more time to see if it makes sense with the rest of the song, or tweak it.
With Wildstyle, I actually wanted to make this chart an xmod file, but wanted to lay it all out first and see what you guys thought. Maybe I could find someone to help out with that and call it a collab. The 16ths were probably a mistake. I laid out a lot of notes as 16ths first, but then realized they were 24ths.
I'll make an expert version of the chart with more layering and some adjustments, I usually do!
Word.
P.S- my sync jobs usually are just slightly off. Ive found my monitor makes it a pain to sync right.
I've made some changes to my file, now I gotta just do some cosmetic touches and I'll resend it (holds, mines, blablabla). Also finishing up another file I had on standby.
