Actually I got into bms too. Too bad I'm shitty compared to LongGone and the Japanese/Korean monsters. But it is fun.

At one time I kind of want to get every top-tier SM players into bms. Then of course I was too lazy to give a full guide to bms and shits.

God SM is so boring now I can't believe I played it for 6 years.

play bms
solol allows you to mash and still get great scores.. (the only reason why i sometimes get better solol scores than LongGone)
bms punishes you for that
also gauge is much stricter so in bms, passing a file is actually a thing. (but ranking is based on the accuracy so your score still counts)
check it out if you are tired of seeing AAs in every single file

And even better, do what I do and play it with the IIDX controller. 8) Though some BMS files are damn near impossible with controller. =(

Too bad I'm not even good enough to play 10's on Hyper, yet. =( Let alone *2 and up stuffs. >.<

Yes, don't play iidx with a computer keyboard. Do it the real way. ^.^

the harder end of BMS files though is a different story

Damn, I really should check out the simulator files section more often. I didn't know you had released a new BCMP. @.@ I need to download that and play it.

But yeah, I likes playing with the controller; it's a very nice feeling.

You should play that special file in BMSSP 2008, that kirby dirge file (fether_ピアノ協奏曲第１番”蠍火”（なんでも吸い込むピンク色のための） on the hardest difficulty LongGone. The 6000 note one. I srsly wanna see if that's possible to play, even with a keyboard. @.@
