dunno if this was posted but this is what the whole discussion reminds me of.

Note the "reminds me of".
I doubt it was posted to contribute to the actual argument here. The argument seems to be about, or, well, has been about, the difference between the gaming styles of tourney players and friendly/home players, whereas the comic has a tourney player who isn't crazy and a friendly player who is crazy. Yeah. It seems we like throwing around extremes for fun. Throwing around extremes can be fun until you actually believe in them. The comic is funny but not "on the money".
I could probably go in to more detail about this if I was better at picking out words.

Final Destination is really fun when you set the damage ratio to x2.0 on Tiny Melee with only poison mushrooms and green and red shells. But then it's more like massive death. (Which is very amusing in this sense).

I'm real excited for this game to come out, I usually just play my 360, but this will be the game that finally draws me to the Wii for at least a week or two.

I personally do not like tournament rules and wavedashing.
And some people I know call me stupid for it.
Items make the game more fun as well.

Gragh, I just got an e-mail from my editor for the review site I work for. He has a copy of Brawl - allegedly - and he is playing it.

Of course, I get games like Raw Danger and Afterburner and Spongebob Squarepants: Underpants Slam to review while he gets Brawl and Advance Wars: Days of Ruin.

Someone needs to dish the games out a little more indiscriminetley.

Well I'm pretty sure March 9th is the definitive released date for North America, since the Japanese version has been released already.

"Non-tourney goers" don't play low-tier characters, with item, no Fox, and no Final Destination to prove a point, they just play the game. Heck, I enjoy playing Final Destination because the background music is awesome.

I was unlocking some of the things I never bothered to unlock on my save of Melee, and I realized I don't even have Final Destination unlocked.
