No.
It's still a known issue unfortionately.

I spent a lot of time on this, but the bug was introduced the second I downloaded the Stepmania 3.9 source and recompiled it (before I made any changes at all...)

I spent some time with it, but no solution has been mentioned at sourceforge. Curiously, the Linux source for Stepmania 3.9 apparently has the same issue.

Thanks Elipsis and Halcyon, this mod is awesome. (Except for the ini reset, goodbye 300-something speed mods)

Two things:

Nice color selection for timing text/arrow effects. Always thought blue would look secksi.

Play with Rids on and Marvs off sometime. It's hilarious.

did they change the color of the flash at the top? in that case, is there any way and i can insert that into my old ridic-stepmania?

Well if you would have bothered clicking the link it says right there you can download a rar containing stepmania + xmods/cmod + ridiculous timing, meaning you don't have to do anything to your old stepmania.

That's exactly what I did. <_<
