Whoops sorry I took a long time trying to read through yesterdays posts, our timing did make me lol that you [Star] also honed in on Blind, seems to be a popular target at the moment.

Will leave my vote on RB until he either responds or the tie goes long enough to where I'll swap to Blind over Star-crossed; the more inactive player and hasn't posted since yesterday I think?

They might've actually not been there for EoD to be honest, last post was 8:16 PM. Still not a great look.

I'd like to see Jinx and Lahkesis make a vote before EOD forces it, the longer it goes the more potentially opportunistic it feels to me for one of them.

I wanted to add that Roundbox was one of the only people who didn't revenge vote Freezn' (twice), which I meant to include in my last post but forgot.

Cuz yeah I'm curious as well, seems like they were throwing sus on rb at first, then went the "they got an opportunity" route on Jinx and Lahke before dippin. I don't feel confident puttin any stock in phrasing but "seems to be a popular target" in the first one referring to Blind doesn't vibe with me very well. Makes me feel like I'm tinfoiling but just seemed like "yeah I'm fine with takin them out" which doesn't really seem town-brain to me.

I was between Jinx and TPS for wolf; Blind included because like how I was sayin roundbox was too gamer for me to properly read him, you're a similar case. I'm still cautious of gettin pocketed but quite honestly I'm down to narrow it between Jinx and TPS, way way way stronger lean for TPS cuz of all this, Jinx is only there solely cuz of PoE fmpov.

If y'all got a case for Lahke/Bone I'm down to hear it cuz I'm pretty convinced they're chill.

Going back to this I don't know what there is to work with either because most of your questions have been about the game setup, specific aspects/terminology of the game, or just complete nonsequiturs. The questions about the game and stuff are fine, that's not why I've got you in my 50/50 with TPS.

Why I am sussin you still is because you've asked a billion times what other people think of so and so but I don't think I've seen you make a single read of your own except for like this one:

So the blind and the Lark the most inactive. And the sub for the game is zenith. I feel like zenith was the one who died first in the fruit game?
They both [Blind + Lahke] have two posts but vastly different. One is only to star? Maybe pairing? Star x Blind ship?

And the two post by the lahseis are really good for someone who hasn’t returned. I don’t know what to feel about them.

Star makes sense. I also think Star frost is the most town core but you going to need to explain the others. Especially Lahinesis

Insinuation of a Blind/Star wolf duo is strange to me, Blind I could see at the time as being possibly one of em--to be clear I'm leaning more on the town side for him atm--but after Star's contributions and how the flips went I'm absolutely certain they're town at this point.

When/how did your thoughts on Lahke change as well cuz it seemed like you were on the fence about em, but why would I need to especially expound on Lahke if you're on the fence? Did you divine smth that I didn't pick up on cuz I'd like to know as well. I don't really have any vibe/read on em, I said in another post of mine what my reads were on Lahke particularly and those haven't really changed. They're out of my PoE cuz I got the least info on em atm.

Firstly: RIP roundbox, you are a champ for your end of day play and for taking the role bullet.

Now, I think the rest of the game is going to be about trying to figure out where the wolf team went wrong. The way the votes were falling in my opinion meant that they had the chance to push an alternative, because voting was unusually scattered in different directions. Basically, they either were a no show (maybe without planning to be) or couldn't figure out a way to do it that would not look too obvious. I actually do not have too much experience with similar situations, so this is going to be a fun puzzle!

There is also not a ton of interaction on Freezin's (hopefully this link works) end to read into except in relation to Subaru, me and dead roundbox.

I guess I will focus on blind first since he seems to be here but will go ahead and cut off this post here so he knows it is coming.

From my viewpoint, there is still a good bit more that you could be talking about because you did not really finish your whole catch up. Whether other people are here or not.

Now, the main problem created by the fact that you kind of dipped out (besides that you almost got me killed off, ya bastad), is that it looked like from your messages you were pressuring both TPS and Freezin. So you are going to have trouble proving that you would have ended up on Freezin and not TPS.

This is some nonteamwork bs. Having someone willing to vote off somebody to kill a streak isn't something we need here.

Obviously you had more recently called out Freezin, but when he came back he said that it was mostly a joke vote. So, one lens of this is that if you are a wolf, knowing he is a wolf might make you react more uncharitably to him joking. (You were not the only one to find it sus but you did seem to have a strong reaction to it.)

So, on one hand, as a wolf you might think it is too much of a dick move to be gone most of the day, and then come back and add more pressure on a wolf partner who is not in an especially good position at that point. The shooting from the hip style of you doing so could be evidence that you were not in the mind frame of needing to push a specific agenda.

On the other hand, it remains a possibility that because you and Freezin were both under pressure, as a wolf you thought it might be beneficial to the overall game state to put distance between you two to make it look better if one of you goes down, and then try to end up pushing the actual votes onto say TPS or whoever. Because you meant to be there and were gone, this could explain why the day end went poorly for the wolves.

You are welcome to respond to any of this if you have any more context that you want to give about your play. I suspect you may not have much because you said you were thinking out loud. It would probably actually help me more if you were to just kind of play normally and try to find the last wolf because as I was saying, you have not really said much yet.

Lahk and Bone are kind of in the same boat in that they stopped posting before Freezin was more evidently in hot water, so both can fit the profile of an absent wolf partner. I think I will look at both at the same time because they do not have that many posts.

Both of them also had minimal focus on Freezin. Lahk seems to have literally never mentioned Freezin, instead focusing on Jinx and roundbox. Bone's Freezin and roundbox reads in his leans list had actually stuck out to me as a little less analysed and a little more charitable than I was expecting, so I encouraged him to interact with them if he got the chance. He took initiative to read back through the thread and give a synopsis of his thoughts on them, but focuses a lot of that word count on roundbox more than Freezin. This is also what prompts him to ask both of them questions.

I think both had good enough for D0 analysis but are going to have to earn it if they want to stay off the chopping block from my standpoint. I do still like aspects of Lahk's D0 posting quite a lot - my only critique there really could be that maybe they are overthinking it a bit to put out the quality and that is why the quantity and span of what they are talking about is so low? I think it can be easier to fake genuine sounding posts when you have a narrow scope.

I will give a more formal opinion on TPS later but I have some questions! Obviously updated thoughts in general would be helpful but I don't doubt he will give those given he has stated multiple times he is interested in being able to analyse the end of the day.

Can you explain this point a bit more? (roundbox I know is dead but this I believe is your main mention in relation to Freezin so I am especially curious)

Ok I believe you on that haha. I spotted another one where you attributed something LastBone said to me too by the way. Actually, you might want to try the multi-quote button. In the bottom right of a post, it is the middle button (it has the " symbol on it). Then, you can click the "quote" button on the last post you want to respond to, and it will put all of the correctly attributed quotes into the reply screen for you.

It does make me a bit curious if you feel like you were having much trouble on d0 keeping straight who was who, if you were not attaching the right names to messages?

And even though he is dead, to better understand your mindset I am wanting to know what you thought of his response to you in post 118? Considering that you did not end up moving your vote off him but also did not say anything further on it.

So Jinx first met only FreezinICE (well, and also raeko/Zennith from our community) in a game on MafiaUniverse that took place about two months ago, and then is in her first game here now. So we actually specifically are trying to judge if she rolled wolf with the only person she knew, or not, which I think would be a fairly unique social dynamic. Some of us could be aware in passing that this game existed because it was linked in our champs thread but I think they would likely get away with presenting details related to it in a way that was convenient for them, if both were wolves, without getting cross-checked.

Just a reiteration of what he said before, I think Roundbox is also trying to find the correct nuance on how to approach this issue. There needs to be some pressure, but it can't be a free ticket for people to just coast on d0 and not have to think or defend their choice of vote.

Threat of early vote could also make them disappear more? “Mentality of eh I don’t like my role, they being aggressive, later peeps?”

On the other hand, it’s hard to reward people who disappear when you have people who are actually playing the game. (I just learned in ToTH about policy lynches like lynch all liars) and I almost feels it leans toward a policy philosophy where ppl that want to play vs people who signed up but dont

I like star's major reads post. I would agree with the read on Subaru for sure, but that's something I put out a bit earlier in the phase.

Lahkesis's posts were good coming in, so I'm sure we'll get more quality from them later.

Blind is still in a blind spot, so I'm fine keeping my vote there for now. I intend on moving it to a better target later. Who is better? I don't know quite yet.

Jinx is still getting their footing for our terms and forums, so I'll give them a bit before they go into reads.

I like Bonehican's tone about asking people about their VT game. Based on other icebreakers and ways to get to know other players, I think it's a good post for reflection. I'm curious to see how many people call their VT games and act it/don't act it.

Tps is also still posting. I think him playing it safe is for the better, so I'll give him a light townread for it. To me, it feels like something someone without allies/information would do, but that's just a gut. Still more to come.

There was someone else i believe said you started sketch and then sounded more town. I feel it was a reversed but I also go influenced by you vote on me because I was thinking you had very poor insight if you’re truly town. But for right now I want to question tps and freeze. Actually I hadn’t known that when was going to bed. Was about to fall out and I think I even got confused and voted for the wrong person. I was sus of Last but I was also juggling between TPS ans Freeze.

My thoughts:
Jinx's initial questioning of Freezin 52 & 54 was something initially that pinged me about her because he wrote a TON in 52 about why and the question did not seem to reflect that.

Freezin stops posting after post 60 and doesn't come back until 104, so Jinx is continuing to drive interaction with him even though he has not been back yet by asking about why he seems different. We learn when she responds to his reply that there is a basis on it coming from their past game, and she even links us in examples. I see this as being a pretty nuanced focus from her side that makes it feel a bit more like a real read from her.

Freezin does not return to the thread until the last 4 minutes of the day, and she mentions multiple times while she is gone that she is somewhat sus of him, agrees with a post someone else makes sussing him, etc. She does outright mention sort of wanting to give him a benefit of doubt as the person she does know, and does end up pressure voting Bone instead for flying under the radar.

Overall, to believe that Jinx and Freezin are partners, you have to believe that Jinx was setting herself up to look good if he dies by focusing on him so much. In this case, she sort of acquiesced to whatever outcome the town fell on because it was fairly up in the air. I actually also think that her being slightly inconsistent in her explanation of why she voted Bone at the end of day 0 vs. today, sounds more to me like someone who left the game as a tired town player, more than someone who was deciding their vote from a wolf perspective.

I guess if I just look at her posting as a whole, I'm not currently buying her being a wolf with Freezin as the most likely storyline behind this game even though this is something I tend to be paranoid of. If you are trying to distance from your partner, do you literally outright say "I want to give you the benefit of the doubt because I know you"? I feel like that's not a great thing to say in general if you care about your image in the game. Lol. I don't know. Basically, what Jinx has been doing does not look much to me like stereotypical Wolf vs Wolf stuff, although I think I would feel more confidence in this if we had more to go on from Freezin's end of it?

Also, wholly unrelated to anything with Freezin, in retrospect I actually quite like Jinx's Subaru read in 171 and then expanded on in 174. I think it reflects nuance in her thinking about him that seems genuine.
