1) star was town for the majority of our games
2) she's played one bad wolf game and one good wolf game, so I don't have a meta on her wolf game
3) anyway, I think she's town
4) however, I think she would do this as a wolf

The context being both my history with FFA and our own dynamic and trying to get where he's at

He was (on the surface) assuming star was town based on his not seeing her and Haku as w/w based on the assumption Haku was wolf. I told him things weren't so simple and don't solve based on a non-flipped assumption of Haku.
His response was that it wasn't about Haku but about him. That when he called out Haku and she jumped on it he didn't think she would be pushing Haku like that to pocket FFA.
My response was basically that it's not about pocketing him and to see beyond himself, that the game doesn't revolve around his read. I did that by explaining other motives thru a rhetorical question.
he then took the rhetorical question and answered in the negative and then literally asked me if I thought she would do it as wolf.

So yes the post you called nothing explained our history, but that history is the context to understanding my answer.

You should be able to see that. Hell, I've seen you see more than that. Don't tunnel on me here if you're town please because you have no legs to stand on and can be an asset when you're using your brain

Right, it seems like he is still fucking around. But he also is wanting to highlight that some people are not that present yet (or at all in Zennith's case). It goes without saying that he will do more later, but it apparently does not go without saying that they ought to. I wouldn't say I think Lewdy seems super off baseline or anything from my vague memories of what that is, it just struck me as hypocritical and thus probably a good discussion point.

I read this as you being condescending as a way to get bug to stop thinking of you as a wolf out of shame or embarrassment. "Your read on me is so stupid a wolf would be embarrassed to give that read publicly."

It wasn't about being stupid, it was about whether the read defensible. I do think it was a bad read, but that's because I'd be comfortable screaming I'M A WOLF I'M A WOLF I'M A WOLF in thread and definitely wouldn't worry about caps. But that isn't the point.

The point is that I don't think a wolf would take a read that they self acknowledge is indefensible and cite it as their only read. I think most wolves would look for something that they could push on, but bug instead chose to point out something that seemed like it genuinely bothered them in the moment.

It's not that I don't understand "the logic" behind what you said, it's that I don't think "the logic" is the primary intention to that post.

tell me what i'm missing, because i reread this interaction and i still don't find my response that odd.

i can definitely hear what star is saying, i was just trying to offer somewhat of an explanation for lewdy's behavior based on what i've seen from him. he usually talks a lot and says little, so i don't really understand what star's point was here. is she saying his behavior is suspicious? if so i stand by my statement. is she saying he is being unhelpful? well yeah obviously lol

i think i semi-understand where you're coming from, but i think what it boils down to is that me and star are actually looking at different things here, which is my bad for conflating the two, but that still doesn't mean my statement was "incorrect"

i can say with full confidence, that is not what is going on here. backpack doesn't care about "protecting me" during twg at all, and he shouldn't. if he votes, that means he earnestly believes it's the right decision (from a wolf or a town perspective which is yet to be seen ofc)
