I have a feeling that one way or another someone IS going to die from the second game, because Goldstinger said that it appears that they have to pick from one of the four of them and they have the same two day phase we do

Seriously though, sunfan probably has some type of caveat where it’s not that simple. There’s probably some element to it where like, I’m only alive for one more day phase or something. So perhaps if you kill me it’s done strategically to counter something the wolves might do.

Although it's a reasonable idea, I'm not entirely convinced this is necessarily a double elimination setup. If the other game was a true "mirror" of this one, then a death in the mirrored game would cause people to reappear in this one (although I'm not sure how "progress" would necessarily be made in this case).

Wolves need to achieve parity in BOTH within X amount of days?

This seems to indicate that some OOTC has occured prior to this day phase in regards to this (e.g. assuming that I am in a neighborhood with one other person, I would not immediately jump to the conclusion that everyone else has their own neighbor without first gathering more information).
