This is such a cool anomaly to see in D1. Shoutouts to Telnaior for being the lowest score to qualify into round 5 -- and being 1st place for this round currently!

I've noticed that D5 this tourney has it so easy compared to when I was D5. I mean 11th OT was so hilarious with difficulty from the start.

R3: 84
R4: 88
R5: 88
R6: 88
R7: 93
R8: 101

This time it's..

R1: 69
R2: 72
R3: 77
R4: 80
R5: My guess would be 83

Just something I wanted to point out. Not sure if it was meant to be easier than back in 2016 or if it just aged that way.

The 11th OT was a deliberate anomaly in terms of difficulty; it was an experiment in amplifying the difficulty tremendously to prevent AAA-or-die situations. Now it's a bit more controlled.

Difficulty progression seems similar to OT 12. 11 was just rude for everyone.

At least now I know. Was never used to things being this easy for me when I'm having to ghost a division (for the ongoing event), let alone one that I got 10th in back in the day.

Actually D6 seems significantly harder than D5, you could argue D6's R1 song is harder than D5's R5 song

I think the songs this year for D6 have been significantly easier than they were last year so far though

Welp I think this is it for me for this tournament, I'm getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow and I doubt I will feel good enough to be able to grind my way into the top 8 by the end of Tuesday. D2 was ridiculous this year and everybody was amazing; I'm definitely better from all the competition. Good luck to everybody else still grinding away!

Oh and I really should switch playing from Velocity to R^3 before the next tournament :P
