Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
could a wolf be where I named?
yes
do I think so?
no
just looking at the way the wagons formed when taking the timing into account, it looks way more like there's wolves on the back-end of the wagon, rather than the front endComment

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
chances are you're wrong about who i am. honestly, i've been kicking myself for playing this way because now it's gonna be hard to emulate this natural style when i have to be a wolf.To expand upon the meta I've seen in the past in the way Julian was acting specifically nearing eod;
Julian was perfectly ready to back off of Del closing in on eod, and then Del called out Julian for the lazy amount of pressure they were putting on tons of players, and that if they aren't going to follow through, they should either not do it, or possibly be a wolf. And then took that as a threat so they continued pressure.
This is the one biggest example in Julian's post history that shows the flipping back & forth in what they want to do & how they want to exert pressure, but their entire post history coming into eod reeks of exerting pressure for reason to vote someone, and then taking their foot off the gas because of good reasoning or backlash, and then putting their foot on the gas again. When I asked where they were going with this, their arguments for why were just as flimsy.
I called them out, I got pressure put on me, had a good reason, backed off, and then threw shade again when I peace'd from the thread for 30mins. Like wtf what sort of town pulls that shit. This is prime wolf looking for lynch candidate at eod behavior, not town scum hunting/polling the masses for slips, especially with the reasons being so weak.
I made a large, thought-out post. Have at me, sidekick.
everything i've said and will continue to say is genuine. my logic and rationale is plain to see. look at my molly and del cases and try to follow my train of thought. they all make sense.
hitting the brakes and pumping the gas comes from a townie who's thinking about things, evaluating them, mulling them over and questioning everything. i'm not locking myself into a certain read then trying to interpret everything i read to suit that conclusion, which is what it feels like you're doing with me.
i'm being as open and transparent with my thought processes as i can be. my confidence in posting that sort of back-and-forth stuff should be a testament to my town alignment. i'm not trying to be squeaky clean, the towniest of towns. the thoughts flow freely because they're all true and coming from the heart. no filter because i have nothing to hide.Comment

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
I always play with the assumption that wolves are somewhat competent. It almost always looks bad to tag on to the end of a wagon. Doesn't seem like something a wolf would do. Wolves have shown incompetence already so I'm definitely not ruling it out, I just don't think the wagon tells us as much as we wish it did and I think it's just as likely it was a full town wagon.Comment

Like, I get that Zucker, because he was both the vanilla wolf and doing fuck all, would be a safe wolf vote, its just that, it really could've gone onto someone else, like Mathilda
if they're also a wolf, the world gets just a bit fuckierComment

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
it's ballsy sure but given that people are going to look towards low posters for the wolves it is not out of the question to be loud and noticeable for the sake of throwing people off the scent what what
like if they actually are a wolf then their tactic has worked on you completely"this person is acting townie, which is how a wolf would wanna act. not a good look!"
get real, cherry!Comment

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
I went back and looked, and they didn't post like
at all at EOD during the last 15 mins or so
they mention that they're fine with where their vote is, but chide people for not knowing when EOD was
feels very strange to couple that with not posting at all during that time
I will agree that it doesn't really feel like a frozen wolf?
but I don't know what to call itComment

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
anyway, i still agree with everyone else about boomer. here's what i said earlier:
also, i feel like at least one of the animals hard-defending me has to be a wolf sensing a potential mislynch and is setting themselves up to look good on my eventual townflip. boomer seems the wolfiest of that bunchComment

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
my guess is if they were content with their vote then there wasn't much else to do but sit back and observe and information gather.I went back and looked, and they didn't post like
at all at EOD during the last 15 mins or so
they mention that they're fine with where their vote is, but chide people for not knowing when EOD was
feels very strange to couple that with not posting at all during that time
I will agree that it doesn't really feel like a frozen wolf?
but I don't know what to call it
actually, who was their vote on again? is it someone they felt strongly enough about that they'd need to push to get them lynched?
but either way, bringing it up unprompted and being honest since it helps others who are asking questions and trying to solve shit strikes me as a pro-town over impression management mindset.Comment
