Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
yeah, that is one of the 10 that I saw
but they basically never happen, and there's a big difference between that one and this one imo, even without knowing flurry's alignment
flurry's one can be a genuine mistake, even if flurry is a wolf
psychoangel's could never be anything other than wolf tmiComment

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
I know I didn't have a stellar performance in terms of being sharp, but I like to believe I wouldn't be braindead enough to tell the entire thread I roleblocked the Cop as a wolf.I'm on my phone because I'm not home, I'm not available to dig through everything at the moment. But I think what you said about me is lazy af so yeah I'm going to call you out on it. And what do you mean slips don't exist? There's a wolf role blocker that sounded very much like a duh I'd block the cop.Comment

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
I pointed out something that could be something, are you guys serious right now? Okay fine, I won't point out shit anymoreI've played a lot of games
I've seen under 10 slips actually happen
I've seen definitely over 1,000 accusations of slips
if there's one thing I could change about mafia, its making people stop fucking looking for this shit
even if Flurry is a wolf
a) they lynched a partner yday, so let them be for now
b) they're not a wolf because of the shit you said
maybe my read on you is a bit lazy, but you were lazy, and looking to push someone who is the reason why you're alive is a terrible look for you, and your reason to just ignore that and look past it is genuinely awfulComment

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
Yes, I do. It's a meta read based on previous game experience. I didn't think much of it at first because for the first half of d0, the majority of it was centered on Molly, and it was a well thought-out argument, which I commented on. It wasn't until the switch-over to Punchy that set off some alarms for me.Comment

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
and we've reached the point of the game where everyone's trying to figure out who everyone else is.
it's capitalism v2Comment

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
I know it's ot directed at me but this definitely happens, especially in anon games where people can switch their style up. I feel like wolves hide less in anon games more often than notComment

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
I did an ISO of Chief on my way to work, and he seemed incredibly...weird...But not in the wolfy sense... Like he just seemed very negativeComment

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
I'm just concluding that activity makes players harder to imitate and it's mostly Anti-Acquisitioner.
It's not necessarily towny or wolfy because the 2 factions share the same goal. (to not be acquired)
So, I'd probably want to look at Julian from a different perspective like what Agent S is doing.
Yeah, I got the same vibe and wasn't sure what to make out of it.Comment

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
after capitalism, maybe my view is skewed, but i don't know if that's necessarily the case. i might have to go back and look up other ffr anon games (smash bros, villains, united nations, danganronpa, any others i may have missed) to verify that, but having read capitalism before, and seeing every wolf being a low-poster or someone trying to hide and be extremely low-key, i don't see someone being loud for as long as julian was being a wolf. if they were loud early-mid phase before petering off near the end and blending, sure. but to be that much of a focal point early on and to maintain it for most of the phase is quite ballsy, imoComment

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
uh-huh. I think at least half of people playing have figured out that much, with the other half still indecisive on whether or not that constitutes 'wolfing'. iirc there was even a mini-chief-wagon because of it.Comment

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
it's ballsy sure but given that people are going to look towards low posters for the wolves it is not out of the question to be loud and noticeable for the sake of throwing people off the scent what whatafter capitalism, maybe my view is skewed, but i don't know if that's necessarily the case. i might have to go back and look up other ffr anon games (smash bros, villains, united nations, danganronpa, any others i may have missed) to verify that, but having read capitalism before, and seeing every wolf being a low-poster or someone trying to hide and be extremely low-key, i don't see someone being loud for as long as julian was being a wolf. if they were loud early-mid phase before petering off near the end and blending, sure. but to be that much of a focal point early on and to maintain it for most of the phase is quite ballsy, imo
like if they actually are a wolf then their tactic has worked on you completelyComment
