I did see that, but also saw Sunfan addressing it himself as well, so hearing the reason from the man himself is better than a secondary opinion

Try-hardy in that it seems like a chance to attack someone for the sake of doing so, and deflecting in that it begins by attacking the experience level of the player (or what Lar presumes to be the exp level), and then an immediate disregard. I think Dusk has a valid point that trying to immediately target low-posters on D1 is not beneficial at all - especially when I find that the silent ones on future days are the ones you may need to worry about more. Plus, like.. are you actually calling them a wolf duo already? That's a reach this early on. Quote:
It makes it oh so much better. Oh, and the content is p great too. Quote:

Also, hi I'm all caught up now. I like Duskfall, I don't see anything wrong with storn's vote on DBP (I guess this makes me the third wolf in Lar's eyes? ) Raeko also looks good in terms of standing up for herself towards Lar. |

My memory is apparently awful, because I don't remember what backpack did, but I know it made me go "why in the world did wolf backpack make that series of posts?" It made no sense to me and I labeled him forever town due to it. Point is: he was a wolf in that game just by not posting majority of the day except near EoD's. ...I feel like this is an irrelevant tangent in regards to DBP, but I believe it's relevant to MML at the moment in this game. It's why when I saw him vote DBP, I assumed it was more of a "meta" reason than what others seem to be taking it as. |

And as I was typing that, another player is calling MML's thing as suspect.

Re: TWG 191: Don't Trust Your Mentor - Game Thread
Personally, I think the most suspect thing here is Dusk finding storn cool but MML not cool, but that could just be different culture from a different site.

Labeling storn as town
Labeling MML as wolf (or at least suspect) I'm just reading the conflict and it just feels like the same thing. Except one of them was aggressive while the other was "mmm... I'll do that too and tell you why, please don't mind me!" ... If I'm reading too much into it, then oops. |

The fact storn did it after I already said it is scummy completely changes the context. It is not necessarily the action that is scummy it is the mindset behind it. So for me two people can do the same thing and it means completely different things, that is what forms meta. Example if I scumread someone and push, then someone votes the same and sheeps then the sheeping person doesn't get the same townread for my good push. They may have done the same thing, but the context is now completely different and so the read formed on them should (or can be) different. Storn is towny imo for placing a vote on a player despite the fact I might scumread him for it |

re: dbp it's actually an even wider pattern than that with the streak he's been on (champs finals, etc) like his job stuff is real and that's why i wanted to bring that into thread, and i want to say i won't get played by him coming in to MaNiPuLaTe TiMe later, but i still think people were pretty early getting onto him for just a lack of anything, when if you're expecting him to behave the same way, that lack is gonna be there for a while |
