idk i find mario rpg started pretty good and gets really cryptic and tedious later, im at the cloud city atm and i dont even feel like finishing the game lol

the monster city was pretty gross, like o boy gotta find something between O and A, i was like searching marios house cause mAriO lol idk, turns out its the goal sign at yoshis island which is literally a place for another tedious minigame

i find the minigames suuuuuuck, except for a small number of them, like lol jumping puzzles and stuff like the whack a mole minigame are basically just made arbitrarily hard because of bad controls/camera

plus having secret items like that are permanently missable, like how u have to jump on the toads head in the mushroom kingdom for a frog coin, are pretty dumb imo (not that frog coins are required etc and u can farm them later, but still)

holy shit, this one.
The best part is when you get the item that pings when a hidden chest is nearby, so it'll ping every time you walk past it with you never knowing its up there instead of a normal place. And if you do happen to figure out its up there, you're already locked out of getting it.

Either that one or the hidden chests you find by standing on top of other hidden chests and randomly jumping. Pretty atrocious hiding spots

If you think mega man 2 is a remotely good game you're a masochist

People use "easy" as a reason for games to be bad and I really hate that

a link to the past is a really good game but it's like a 9/10 compared to ocarina of time which is like an 11/10

i really enjoyed the movement in alttp tho and I 100%'d it a few weeks ago, I liked skipping pits and stuff by bonking off walls with the boots and once u get the boots and hookshot ur basically zooming, its pretty nice

i feel like the oracle zelda games / links awakening are more fun for a "alttp" style zelda

pegasus seeds + roc's feather / cape > dashing boots

This and the DKC trilogy graphics too. Rare were so ahead of their time with their graphics, especially in the DKC trilogy. And I love the Yoshi's Island graphics too.

like, game opinons are influenced by so much, such as nostalgia etc... if u grew up with a game youll enjoy it more than the sequels lol

Not correct. It's not canon after X5. Keiji Inafune said so himself (He's da big man who gave us Megaman and Megaman X) But then Capcom shat out X6-X8

X7 is probably the most frustrating game I have ever played because of how broken it is.

X4/X5 are basically a tie but X4 isn't afuckingraceagainsttime

TBH I would say that MOST of Megaman 2's stages aren't that terrible except for Quick Man. If you don't have the Flash Stopper you're basically fucked both ways. 1. Because it gives a HUGE advantage over Quick Man and 2. You can use it to stop the yellow beams of death. Heat Man's stage is a fucking nightmare if you don't have item 2 (the rocket thing) but other than that the stages are really fun! GET GUD! <3
