What I mean is that if u win wolf games by calling people filthy names, no one will respect you there.

...But they don't care if you win town games by calling people filthy names?

I have decided I want to move my private conversation with sun fan to a public forum setting. Partly this is because I kind of lost track of what we were responding to of one another.

sun fan is claiming that jrodd is 100% a town for saying "WOW ITS ALNOST AS IF THOUGHTS EVOLVE u inbred fuck" to DaBackpack. The basis of this claim, from my understanding, is that jrodd has played mafia at another place where it is very important to be civil to others, and that because of that, jrodd has a different line of what is OK to express with regards to anger, as a town versus as a mafia. I have a few concerns with this idea. Some of these are more as a concept, than specifically to do with jrodd, but are still important to me because I am concerned that sun fan is not being genuine in defending jrodd. I will concede that the most angry I saw jrodd get in a past game on FFR of several that I read, was in a game where he was a town. I will also concede that it feels very bad as a town, to experience wolves trying to go to extremes of rudeness, just to seem unaligned, from my experience.

But also from reading past games of jrodd, he comes off as self-righteous that he should be alive, no matter what role he is playing. I do not think being angry at being pushed as a possible lynch, on a day that would swing the game a lot, is a disingenuous reason to be angry enough at a specific person to be insulting them.

jrodd, as a strategy, later faked strong anger toward DBP specifically to try to make a fancy play. At the time this seemed illogical, but the emotion of it specifically did not seem out of character from how he had been previously behaving toward DBP and others that push on him, which concerns me with regards to his ability to fake emotions.

I also do not really get how the attitude that you will be kicked out of playing TWG with others, if you are very rude as a wolf, helps to keep things civil. It seems like it would be encouraging to town players to bait others, to see if they can express anger at a level beyond what is acceptable for a wolf.

Basically I do not get how this translates to 100%, whatsoever.

The other stuff, I will address after I sleep.

It is still not really making sense to me.

people will be more understanding if they believe that you're doing it out of anger (rare that wolves would ever get that angry) rather than trying to win

its something that most people will go through if they play this game enough; its very frustrating; a lot of people hate getting mislynched more than anything else in the game
