Lulziest thread ever, even really bad plays (Myself >_>) notice this after playing a song with a lot of jumps (And probably failing -_-') but I think only pros will care much >_>

That being said, wouldn't it only take a really minor tweaking of the judging system, or am I really really underestimating how complex the coding is?

it can't possibly require a remake of the game though, since you can already implement it by making every single note a minifreeze. so you'd just have to rewire it so it treats everything as though it were a minifreeze or something.

EDIT: I've known this for years and it has entirely ruined my stepmania experience and matters a lot. I actually sunk into a life of depression and alcoholism because the stepmania scoring engine was inadequate.

Thank god my stepmania friends were there for me

Well I don't see anyone here jumping up to magically fix a broken scoring system. We all know it needs to be done, but unless you want to completely reprogram stepmania, it's not happening sorry

Now that we solved this crisis, what's the next thing someone with a lot of free time will fix? I personally am hoping for a cure to cancer but better frame rates on a DDR simulator is fine.
