I'm back to computer so it's easier to type and make longer posts than on my phone when I should be working on lab stuff. Champs is like, my best town game ever so don't look at that one for what I'll most likely play as this game. As town I know I have a tendency to drop off the face of the planet (someone once referred to this as 'clocking out') as the game goes on; I stay more engaged as wolf, I believe. D1 is usually pretty good for me overall. Town me doesn't tend to care and will post almost anything, wolf me is much more conservative and I feel like that does tend to come across in post tone.
>Caveat to this is that I'm still trying to get some of the atmosphere of this site since it's easier to read it from the thread during an ongoing game than reading a finished game. I don't super change my game style when moving to other sites, but I also don't have a ton of off-site experience and what I know is acceptable on my home site is way more conservative than any other site I've been on, so that's part of the atmosphere I'm trying to feel.

starting the ISO from lowest poster upwards; I think this paragraph kinda makes me feel alright about kirk tbh. lot of stuff that feels like its just honest, which I don't place much value on inherently, but it does make me believe that they are telling the truth about a few things, most importantly what they tend to do as either alignment.

I mean, this read is #TooEarly but the part about clocking out makes me feel /ok/ about Kirk for today. I don't really get a conservative vibe from their posts. Time will tell, of course, this is really just a d0 read.

Yeti is like a very super extra mild salsa but instead of salsa it's a townlean. I feel like I should regret this lean.

The reason why I don't like that intro post from mellon is because it feels like tryhard town. I disliked Yeti's first post, 15, for the exact same reason. Come into the thread and immediately gain attention by claiming town. Towniness comes from post content, you shouldn't have to say it if you're playing well imo. It's a warning to me when you come in trying to say 'hi i'm town!!!' by calling wolves out as a separate entity, since it's a distancing technique.

The difference between Yeti and mellon, however, is that Yeti goes on and makes more town-sounding posts, while I haven't seen mellon follow up into more town mindsets yet.

I know I'm going Hoya here and typing a lot about a player with very few posts; and I may be making a mistake here considering kirk was sent to rep a community in champs but like

if this post is made up as a wolf, its a very well made post.

I mean, yes, some of it is easy like rules enforcing "don't claim town its dumb"

the part about differentiating yeti and mellon though feels real
