in my defense that play would have been amazing if I didn't accidentally fake-seer my partner

in retrospect, me choosing you as a seer target should have been an indication that you were doing well as a wolf

Also, just reread thesunfan and AA interaction.

I remember once again why I glazed over it.

AA is being super nitpicky and I kind of just zoned out when they were arguing over small details.

...But that's AA for ya, dohoho.

Grabbed what I thought illustrated my point better. I find the posts are helping with generating conversation without feeling forced, and Charu isn't focused on meta-gathering like AA and sun are in some of their posts. Charu just feels good when posting to me tone-wise. Most of my d1 reads are tone reads.

The reason why I don't like that intro post from mellon is because it feels like tryhard town. I disliked Yeti's first post, 15, for the exact same reason. Come into the thread and immediately gain attention by claiming town. Towniness comes from post content, you shouldn't have to say it if you're playing well imo. It's a warning to me when you come in trying to say 'hi i'm town!!!' by calling wolves out as a separate entity, since it's a distancing technique.

The difference between Yeti and mellon, however, is that Yeti goes on and makes more town-sounding posts, while I haven't seen mellon follow up into more town mindsets yet.

something that's been nagging me is how often AA resorts to asking questions -- which on its own doesn't sound like a bad thing because it technically generates information, but it feels... off here, as if it's entirely self-serving

when I'm done catching up I'll look at the context of these questioning posts
