Re: Turbo XVI: The Day After Tomorrow - Game Thread
I'm going to leave a wall of text to reflect on and give everyone stuff to talk about. It would be nice if you can answer it without going into self-meta.
1. Wayward Vagabond
WV is supposed to change his meta once again. WV said he would sign up as a wolf.
I think we should use this to pressure him without having a valid reason.
We should question WV about why he's playing differently or why he's not playing differently.
We should ask him about his disponibility this game compared to the previous one. That's about it for investigating.
2. roundbox
Roundbox is either your best friend or your worst nightmare.
I don't remember playing vs a wolf roundbox so, I'm getting unnecessary paranoia from him most of the time which is arguably unfair.
I'm expecting him to be targeted early on as a potential target, but if he plays nullish kind of like "funfan" did in the previous game, I think he should get far enough to reach a critical point within the game for him to do something game changing. (maybe?)
So, what should we do about it ? Simple. Follow progression and general activity.
3. XelNya
When XelNya is helpful, he's a wolf. When XelNya is following Wendy Nihilistic RP, he's town.
Note that helpful XelNya can act like town XelNya, but he's going to be awkwardly too precise in his game.
I'll get more on this if there's enough posts by him to articulate more about this.
4. Cold Kitten
Cold Kitten is like a ball of emotions that is under control to some degree.
I'm probably just going to keep an eye on her game progression and base my read on that because I believe pressure can tilt her in a similar state as both alignment and I believe I may get a false positive if I don't make sure I understand the intentions.
I had the chance to roll wolf with her in TWG and then I compared it with games where she was town and I realized that my own expectations for red flags was wrong.
Maybe I'm off, but I think her game is similar to Makilaz.
5. Hakulyte
These actions that you are performing should cease continuation. Please refer to common sense 101 manual for how to interact with human beings. [robot transmission over]
6. Celirra
Celery is one sneaky player. Game involvement is pretty much what I go with at this point with him. His actions are pretty logical as both alignment.
Intentions are usually relatively unclear while I read him. It seems like he has his own way to play and it's been working well so far.
I'm probably going to have to rely on game progression which means he will probably survive D0 by default. Yeah, I need to find better flags for you.
7. FreezinIce
You can fake common sense very well, but I haven't seen you fake your own purity. So, that's still a green flag so far and it's been working well. You're starting to remind me of AA and that's a good thing.
Your game is usually pretty simple to follow in terms of intentions and I do rely a lot on it for deciding what to do. You're a lot like ShadoWolfe except that you're easier to read right imo. (in b4 you prove me wrong)
8. sanzath
It seems like Sanz balanced out his own meta a little more. I tend to compare his wolf game to a mix of Precarious / DarkManticoreX2. I think his town game is more like Celirra as it is partially unclear.
This is both a good and a bad thing because you kind of become a coin flip due to it and you're likely to get sniped early on because of it if town.
9. xXOpkillerXx
Game progression / actions / intentions is your friend to read him right. Meta is still evolving so, I still plan to read him like I'm facing a new player where I have to rely on basics.
I believe in tone reads with game progression to clear him later on.
Note: This is me trying to meta read everyone rather than using the thread to formulate reads. I'll use thread for reads later on in the phase duh.
