I'm considering resigning. I apparently just hit D4 (I thought I was going for D3, since it said nowhere that I had hit D3) and now I feel like I might have an overwhelming advantage in D2, even though I'm not currently winning... Anyone have thoughts? I'm conflicted :C

The top 3 with you in D2 are a 51, 53, and you at a 55... that should be fine for you to keep playing


and with dropping out.. why is it your fault you improved?

I guess you have a point. I've improved so much though, I think I started this tournament with 4 AAAs and like lv 30 something. Now I've got 14 AAAs and 55, something just doesn't feel right about it to me. But again, you do have a good point.

Giving up "because I got too good" or whatever is really silly, borderline arrogant.
You're not even winning your division this round, so you clearly have room to improve more, and that's an obvious sign you don't have an "overwhelming advantage"

also Felyx, I feel like if I was in d2 and won the tournament after you resigned the victory wouldn't sit well with me, and I wouldn't know if I had *really* won my division because I'd lost the chance to compete against you in the final

To win the tournament in lower divisions there is a 100% guaranteed NEED to boost through the next division or two

You're doing what is expected of someone who's looking to make top 5, nothing out of the ordinary

You've not been moved by tournament staff, and in fact - have been identified as someone internally who seems to be working quite hard for it (both within the constraints of the tournament and outside of it as well)

You have no need to do this.

actually mad though I can hardly manage 2:1 AA now... this engine...

fuk u I did not sanction this at AN or otherwise

I just moved this weekend and won't have internet in the new place until at least the 12th, but as luck would have it I agreed to cat sit for someone and they're gone until the 15th so I have full wifi access at their place beginning now ergo I might continue to smash keys and piss off their neighbours if I think I have a chance this round (but a 5 day break means I'll need a real good warmup)

better than doing fucc3n scholastic shit tho
