Nice update post here:

@Winrar, I'll get you added to the whole system probably tomorrow, read below for what the deal's gonna be here for the next lil bit

@Jon, Last year we ran for about 40 weeks before we hit a pretty low lull, but the time before, during, and after the OT is when we hit our full surge

The goal is for general skillboosting and OT prep, so since the OT's actually here things are gonna be pretty quiet for the next few weeks so we can mostly focus on that

Also I'm planning on starting season 3 soon after the OT for a couple reasons
I know this season's been running for what like 4 months but a) we got thrown off by no OT last year and b) low key running out of good songs to use in the 76+ range so a nice reset there would help

May try a lil harder phasing in more FFRMania stuff since we've got a recent flurry of uploads to that engine

Also, any suggestions for things you guys wanna see, please feel free to speak up and let your thoughts out, I'm def open to hear new ideas from others, I can only think of so much by myself

One thing I do have, and would like to hear thoughts on, is hosting a weekly of sorts, where we can all find one time to meet up in MP and have a mini-tourney or at least a round-robin type deal. Kinda like Smash events if you're familiar, or I think o!m used to do this kind of format. The main difference is this kind of event is live scoring, so it can shake things up a bit.

Each division would break off (or have different times for each division if that ends up working better) and have two people play each other in MP with song bans/picks. Each strike a few songs to not play, agree on a starter song, winner bans a couple, loser has song choice, repeat till Bo5 or whichever we can decide on. Keep a scoreboard, maybe do a live bracket depending on the number of people that show up that week, idk. All the specifics can be discussed of course.

Would this kind of thing be something people would be interested in doing? Something fun, something different, a good chance to hang out and get some community interaction going. There's the FFR Discord we can use too for voice chat and hang out. It all depends on if we wanna take that step. Right now we're a pretty good crew, some of you pop in and out depending on availability and that's perfectly fine. But if people are available at similar times I feel like this is something we can definitely organize and have fun with.

I'm in MP literally almost everyday at around 7:00 PM CT (server time) or midnight (usually midnight). Also, I think it would be cool to start seeing some more FFRMania songs since I think we're running out of regular ones that aren't memes (for D6 anyway). I can suggest some too.

With my work schedule, I can play Saturdays any time. other than that, I'm at work from 2pm sever until 12:30 am server lol
