I've noticed that AAA'ing hard files requires concentration. Stamina. Endurance. Consistency. Pattern flexibility. But speed doesn't quite matter.

Sounds about right. The long songs are the hardest. Staying focused the whole time is really damn hard. It's why I can't to Gotta Catch 'em All for shit x.x keep losing focus at the end and screw up a ton.

Also, lulz am I good yet?

This song is such a stupid gimmick it's hilarious. Not even close to a real 77.

gosh

first 50% was absolutely golden
got 6-0-1-0 on the jumptrill-rollwall transition and was lagging really badly at the end but i don't think i'll be able to beat this anytime soon

Finally AAA'd Gaussian Blur 3 (I remember hating that file when it came out) which finally pushed me under 500 Avg Rank!

just had a pretty wacky 30 mins of ffr
it all stemmed from this choke


but then all this happened
the best thing about this run is that somehow it's clean


misses suck but still decent


did really bad in the second half, had 2g until about 1500


I can still do better on this I feel

















I SWEAR I CAN AAA THIS
I got all of it in one pattern of the drum solo
went up to rank 60 from it though so that helps

Lmao i reallly dont lime the tournament file, a bunch of things are visibly arbitrary, like the [14][23]jumptrill into 32nd wall is intentionally a runkiller, a bunch of 32nd trills are in the opposite direction of whats natural or makes sense.

I'll probably appteciate the file more once im not competing on it, but its the first time ive been literally bothered by how arbitrarily difficult a file was

I don't understand how everyone and their dog is good at this file. I have better scores on most 86s and 87s than I do on le carnaval.
