saving someone is an action. Even if the save is used on someone that wouldn't have died, an action is performed. Roleblocking stops the action from happening, and the person is generally informed as such. It happens in c9++ and most other mafiascum setups, as well as whenever a hooker is used on DM.

I mean in this exact scenario yes, but there are things like strongmen and sprinter-type killing roles that also bypass medic saves. While they aren't present, it still makes sense to tell the medic they're roleblocked if they are roleblocked.
