It's sure difficult to get quality songs when I rush on choosing the files. Pretty challenging to hit that 50 files mark.

Why are you so obsessed with the pack having 50 files? It doesn't make the pack any better. Most of the packs that are popular in this community have way less. Even NB5, which is really large by any standards has less than that.

honestly i don't care if this pack had 30 or 50 songs.. what i care about is when i play through it i find something fun about every single file. i don't want "filler" files that aren't really that fun or don't hold anything to them that make them unique. sure, there's been packs that were large that happened to be REALLY good too (ie odi1-3, keyboard megapack 1.5, xoon 5). i was pretty surprised to even reach 30, then 40, and now 48; a pack is only as good as its submissions..

i even feel weird when i just "place" my own files in the pack when usually the person that makes the file is their own worst critic xd

I have some sort of fastidiousness so I tend to finalize things with 5 or 0 as their end number. No real meaning to those.

Also, thankfully intensez is sorting out all the low quality songs, so I believe the pack will never really be low of a quality.

it's ok i stepped more vgm to be sure we nail the coffin (cuz my real music stuff takes me years to step, p sure i still have a file for 94 hours / as i lay dying sitting in my stepman from like 2010)

This pack will be solid. I'm so glad I was part of it. :3 please, guys, when you play my songs, I'd love to hear your feedback. I have never stepped seriously for sm before, so this is a real first for me.

Resteps are cool if there's a clear purpose in your project rather than just "making a file out of that song because it sounds cool" ; like making a sim particularly better than the original one, feeling like the music wasn't exploited to its full potential in the old-but-famed sim it originated from etc.
As long as you feel that your finished file will have a merit of its own, resteps are good

plenty of submissions surprisingly even near the end ill be sure to get them reviewed by tonight/tomorrow and give a FINAL file list since i don't plan on accepting any more submissions after that batch. unless it's for fixed .sms, patched files, changed gfx, etc etc no more!

I want things with effort... Like no offense but I hated playing 10+ files and I knew for a fact half of them were made years and years ago. Next pack I organize I'll just go ahead and say unreleased only to force effort xd

The flames do seem to work well with the theme of the song, so I'm not opposed to this gfx at all. However, the dimensions of the bg seems a bit elongated - you should truncate the sides. Typical resolution is anything like 320x240, 640x480, anything of those multiples, etc.
