idk why, but i dont like the way jub says this. mainly the phrase "prove my town-ness" the post gives me woof vibes but nothing conclusive

That phrase gave me a slight vibe as well. A town's overall mindset is not to "prove their townness" but to "hunt the wolves". Having a strong desire to prove one's supposed townliness is more indicative of a wolf (since they would be the most concerned with appearing as town as possible).

As I read sunfan's reply, I get the sensation that he's hiding more than he's letting on.

How dare he say storn has done way more than anyone else!

That makes me think he's trying to paint storn town, and painting someone town deliberately is wolfy!

Or it could be he really feels like that.

If I had a gun right now I would vote "no one" because I'm not confident in a shot this early in the game.

You didn't answer the question which said you had to shoot someone, not that you could shoot someone if you wanted to.

It seems like you're trying to play things off as if you're super neutral which is understandable as a wolf since expressing non-neutral opinions makes it increasingly difficult to remain non-self-contradictory down the road.
Although I see Charu's already gotcha with somewhat of a self-contradiction x:

Ok, there we go...thread read. Some misc thoughts:

-Choof is feeling pretty towny to me, his posts in general seem to ring with a sense of confidence that feels town-indicative.
-I would put a vote on Charu just because that's 3 much obnoxiousness 5 me but he seems to be putting in a solid effort into solving this game even though it's day 1 (especially that post where he pointed out Jub's self-contradiction).
-As for Jub, I'm not getting any good vibes from him right now as indicative in some of my previous posts. I want to think that I have a biased perspective due to the fact that he's not accustomed to the "style" of ffr twg. Even then however, I don't feel like a townie would respond the way jub did regardless if they were used to ffr twg or not.
-thesunfan: I'm really confused with you. You quoted jub out of context when he said "what do you want from me" and used that to place a vote on him which I don't think was justified yet (or maybe it was a joke, idk). Also, your vote for jub makes little sense if you think that wolves generally aren't tryhards.

I think that was quite enlightening, actually. It definitely gave me a more solid opinion on Jub (and made him a bit more suspicious in my eyes).

I apologize for my inactivity. I joined the game without afterthought because I was at blindreper's house on Monday and was just like "Of course I'll join!!"

I checked the EOD time though and I do have some time left to kick it into gear before this day ends. Today will be my last pretty bad work day and then Friday will provide me with some relief.

I have read through the thread, and assessing posting patterns, I don't feel anything too strange in regard to posting patterns which I was trying to gauge. general pinging just brushing over I feel CK is responding fairly well to overall discussion, especially comments made at her directly. Also sunfan isn't throwing off any red flags either and funnygurl is reminiscent of most games I'm used to. Charu may seem a bit for "subdued" which is out of character but it may just be too early to tell. Storn is putting in a good amount of effort, however it may even be a bit much for D0. That could be indicative of something. Benguina posted at the ass crack of dawn as usual from hawaii land and through in an analytical post at some point after a long period of inactivity That's fairly common from at least the few wolf games I've seen from him.

I'll be sitting down Friday and adding many more thoughts though. Off to work!

Storn is putting in a good amount of effort, however it may even be a bit much for D0.

yea, i can see that. i guess its just that im still a bit new to twg so i dont have all the complete feels for how to gauge my play. i've been trying to improve my useful activity in he thread and my analysis skills (both analyzing and explaining my analysis) since its some things that i've been commented on in previous jTWG games that i should work on. It probably also doesn't help that the last jTWG had an extremely tryhard D0. so in theory this might be my first actually played D0 (first game i was a sub, 2nd someone did a stupid FC, 3rd was tryhard)

storn42: you played so laid back this game. which is good, it's better than getting really defensive, but even as town, you have to at least try more than just on the last day :P not bad overall

actually now that i go back it wasn't commented on that i had bad analysis, only that i was good at finding the woofs :P i still felt that my explanations needed work and i think im about at the point where im good at them :P
