i dont really care but like it could get confusing (i.e. if you're in 2 games you might mess up your roles lol). Gamewise I don't think it'll make a difference but if people can manage to deal with multiple roles it should be all gucci

Frankly, if the issue is playercount, the more sensible option would be to abolish jTWG altogether and just run one game at a time.

I voted for the TWG/jTWG option..which I mean should be the only option..multiple TWG games aren't ever happening unless it's a TWG/jTWG so the whole "many games" is kinda pointless unless it refers to non-ffr games as well. I think if you're in one and another game needs like a replacement or something you should be able to hop in if you can manage two games at once.

no it's simply against the rules (on 2+2) to discuss ongoing games in other games in the same way it is discussing subs. don't like it? get modkilled

our moderation structure probably wouldn't reliably catch that or penalize it IMO

Like I'd want to avoid what Fiction is mentioning, but I also think that tbh the rule should be changed to:

"A player may join two games at once, if the hosts of the games allows it."

solid idea, and basically the way I think we should be handling all of our rules things, given the size of our community and the lack of a governing body.

I think the host should ask themselves/whoever the following questions if someone wants to join their game while already playing in another game(s):
-Would the host(s) of the other games be ok with it?
-Does this person have a recent track record of being reliable enough to be sufficiently active in both games?
-Is there a high possibility of confusion akin to what psychoangel said? (Confusion on roles and who's who).
-Are signups slow and is this person a new player? If not, perhaps giving others a chance to play would be better.

there was a stretch of time where we were running two games and calling them both TWG. our folks who have been jTWG regulars have picked up quite a bit of experience now, and it shows in the way those games have played out (and in the overall postcounts, I guess). the jTWG label is losing whatever utility it may have had.

so the whole "many games" is kinda pointless unless it refers to non-ffr games as well.

it does not; that's all honor system.

so playing in only one game just won't satiate you. guess what? there are a million other outlets for getting your Werewolf/Mafia on. expand your horizons instead of bringing some of these issues into play, even if the issues are minor or can be somewhat mitigated by threat of modkill. my 2¢

it would be up to game hosts to modkill
but I think overall twg doesn't really need moderation in the sense that we need someone to give out/keep track of penalties, we have a mod more for the forum aspect and not the game aspect, if that makes sense
