I go off to save Hyrule for ONE DAY and you all post 10 pages of stuff?!
But LOL at a Wolf being modkilled.
Peach is probably right that Fit Trainer wasn't snitched on by a partner. In that case, Ike's immediate response is very townie. Jokingly taking credit for a modkill on a Wolf doesn't sound like something a Wolf would think of saying over celebrating.

Why?
Bowser's been better trying to get things going after Fit's death.
Villager's posts are pretty spontaneous and he's been contributing more than most. Leaning human for him.
Pikachu's making posts lacking content is annoying. But a Wolf would probably start being serious at this point, especially when a partner was modkilled.

so I haven't read the thread yet; what the fuck did Wii Fit Trainer do to fuck him/herself over this early lmao
Sounds artificial. It was stated explicitly that Fit Trainer's death was due to participating in outside communications.

i'm trying to think of a way to play devil's advocate on this, given that i mentioned we should look into ike's post, but i can't think of a way to do so without being forced
ssbmchamp, also known as captain falcon, also known as red blaster.
Guessing that mostly because he's playing very similarly to previous games, talking about shitposting, and making very bad hypocritical reads (see me switching to ike, him complaining about that, then switching like 2 more times, absolutely no commitment)
Link, you have to take into consideration that 24 people means 6 wolves. While it's nice that we have a wolf down, they might not yet be feeling the pressure, because 5/23 people still remain, and we've got a long way to go. I'm not saying it's a bad thing (one wolf down is superb) but wolves may not care still, or have decided to not step it up just yet?
Also, your logic is completely opposite of what I was thinking. Based off of Ike's immediate reaction, that could have been a wolf trying to immediately clear himself by claiming (as fake and joke-y as it was) credit for that mod-kill. It's certainly more suspicious than other people's response. I think the proper way of addressing the mod-kill would have been to just kind of acknowledge it, and move on. Gloating does literally nothing for us, and only draws spotlight towards you. Whether that spotlight could have been used to cast suspicion or to clear early is dependent on the later reactions and motive behind the gesture in the first place. In essence, I really don't like how Ike drew all that attention to himself, solely to make it look like he should be cleared. Not a town thing to do.
I'm going to keep on Ike because of this, and I think that he would be the best lynch for today.
Followed very close behind however, Pikachu needs to stop what he/she's doing and actually say things, because unfortunately it may have been funny for all of 2 posts, but afterwards, you're not contributing to the conversation. If you're even thinking about the town plays, it'd be nice to have input from you so that we don't end up wasting a lynch later because you played so horridly for the first 'howeverlongyoudecidetodothat'/
The 3 post spam was way more than a little notification gloat from Ike. That was full on, making an attempt to draw everyone's glance towards him, and mainly feels like a really big show that he put on for those couple of posts. There's 5 wolves left, there's pretty much no time to be celebrating, unless you're deliberately trying to look happy about one dying because of some outside factors.
In fact, if you think about it, Wii Fit Trainer could have been modkilled due to someone completely outside of the game. Since this is indeed an anonymous game, there's no guarantee that someone that you're talking to is in or not in the game. He could have totally been snitched on by someone who wasn't even playing in the game. (theory is a little wild, but definitely plausible) Having the information whether someone's in the game or not, especially after the game has actually started is huge, because meta reads start playing in, and bias leaks in as well and all of that.
what peach posted is how i was going to approach a devil's advocate post on ike, but it doesn't make sense
if wii fit and ike were both wolves, they would already know that they're wolves together; there would be no need at all to talk about roles out of game

Said this before, internet sarcasm is hard. And in TWG, I take everything everyone says with a grain of salt; just because Zelda could have been joking doesn't mean she wasn't trying to subtly force something.
Also, I don't want to participate in player-hunting. That will eventually lead to reading someone wrong, guessing them as the wrong person, and proceeding to base your reads off of already incorrect ones. The game is anon for a reason.
Peach i was thinking about that ike situation. This is a dumb thing to fake though to appear town as the real 'snitch' can come out provng the other wrong. Theres no reason to do that to appear town unless you are a wolf, its suicide.
If Ike is a wolf, and he sees a wolf get modkilled, the first gut reaction of someone who is inherently in a suspicious role would be to try to establish himself as a trusted figure, and from at least my perspective, he overdid it like crazy. Wolves know each other's roles, yes, but what you're assuming is that Ike actually had a hand in modkilling Wii Fit, which I seriously don't believe for a second.
