Seriously! Have you seen my set of 43's, 44's, and 45's? They're terrible by D2 standards.

Have now. But all those AAAs is what I saw the first time I looked. And since this is cumulative, you might just be able to float on your AAA boat right through the difficult rounds. LOL

Since this is also Averaging, one full AAA round won't do you as good as you think

I thought it was
AVE(round 1 songs) + AVE(round 2 songs) + ...
which would mean that perfect rounds, especially the later you can pull them off, would be quite beneficial. Sure, if you could blackflag everything that would be better than to AAA the first half then get worse than SDGs in the second half, I get that much. Was not referring to a single round of AAAs either. He has them pretty consistently into the lower 30s, which is more than I can claim.

tl;dr I was just telling him he has a better chance than he is giving himself credit for and to hang in there.

Don't drop because of that reason. These songs were all picked for a reason, for every division. As are all the picks for the next 4 rounds, and if it happens, the sudden death songs. Just stick to it, I would really like this tournament to turn out a good deal of people actually finishing.

Yeah, you are correct it is like this: AVG of R1 + Avg of R2( and other rounds as well) = the total FINAL SCORE (the SUM of all the AVG scores per round.) The final total will not be an AVG but only the SUM of all 5 rounds Avgs.
