Style comes after having stepped 15+ files. Believe me, you gotta step to get good.

I'm pretty sure 90%+ of my files follow an all-too-recognizable pattern, even if I try NOT to make it look like my style.

"made" as in finished or "made" as in stepped a first draft, got some opinions, re-worked and re-visited sections until you had a final draft you were satisfied with? :\

15 was an arbitrary number... I stepped more than 40 serious charts, and I still make noob mistakes on every new chart.

It's really interesting to see so many people stepping the same songs, my thoughts on what I've tested:

Lovely City:
Not really satisfied with any of the files but I liked 1, 2, 6 and 8. And 9 is fun in a kind of dirty way. No need to mention how gold 10 is haha

Wheelpower & Go!:
6 is simply too good, excellent, loved the file from vroom to vroom.
4 and 11 are quite good.
5 (ignoring the first solo), 10 and 13 are good.

This Will Be The Day:
If I somehow manage to listen to the song 20 times I'll edit this.

c'mon dude, you've been playing for far too long to not pick up on simfile artist's little quirks

I feel like I bounce around too many ideas/structures to have this apply to me but you guys are welcome to list characteristics of my charts lmao

also choof why didn't you use that 40 second cut for TWBTD
