    Now change boo's to break combo and add +20 to every songs difficulty. Then remove combo scoring and lower it by 20 again.

      ~zeta~: maybe you're sorting the song list by song id instead of date? they're slightly different... if you manually add up all the song difficulties for 2002 you get 208 over 19 songs = 10.9, but rondo alla turca (54) got a higher song id than some of the 2003 songs, and if you take out rondo altogether you get 154/19=8.1. also, excel spreadsheets, really? my hugely advanced technological gadgetry makes you look like a technophobic luddite. so shameful.

      why didn't avmisses get fixed sooner if they were such a big deal in ffr's early days?

        If I recall correctly it was a flash limitation. That or they just didn't know how to fix it.

          It was a consequence of how the game was originally designed. In time, we'll be asking that same question about lag >.>

                  Wasn't there a version of Velocity where you could turn it back on for whatever reason?

                    I think some alternate engines have the option to turn on avmisses.

                    Let's not forget that there was once a time when speedmods didn't exist either, and getting an SDG on Silence was godlike. Nowadays it's more of a milestone.

                      Interesting data. Average difficulties should be raised by people's improvement, but yeah a bit too rapid. Sometimes this needs to be controlled by special batches.

                      As for harder song side, actually combo scoring is the only reason not to add many harder (95+) songs (avmiss was too, in the past). Waiting for skill (both playing and stepping legit harder songs) improvement.
