I'm not saying all of his stuff is amazing, but I wouldnt say that the larger amount of his stuff is mediocre(At least pre-2013, his stuff kind of sucks now).

okay

one major flaw of renard is that he really hasn't progressed as a producer. a lot (and I seriously mean A LOT) of his old stuff is on par with his new stuff. you could argue that "if it's not broken, don't fix it," but seriously.

anything that he makes outside of happy hardcore/fakebit is just absolutely uninteresting, and isn't dynamic at all.

and even in the aliases that he excels at (breakcore and fakebit), his stuff is very surface level. maybe it's due to him bouncing around with different genres, but there are tons of artists that run circles around every single renard alias (except tqbf because honestly that alias is a breathe of fresh air in terms of speedcore).

he is literally entry-level electronic music. he is a bad producer, he doesn't make interesting music. I think I could safely say that if he didn't use the furry fandom to promote his totally trite music, no one would listen to his stuff.

and if that isn't enough, his music and his name are literally a meme.
